A month ago most everyone here said Taulia was gonna beat out Mac. Now apparently Taulia is out of the picture and Young is the new favorite.
Tua is one of the best QB’s to play the game at Alabama. We know what we have in him. An accurate, gun slinging, mobile QB. But here we are not just saying, but wishing he’d leave, and not just for his own sake. People are actually wishing that a Hiesman runner up QB would leave so a freshman can get the start. Seriously? I love Alabama but our “fans” deserve everything we get when this run is over.

Mac is still playing as the backup QB. He never won the starting job.
He did win the back up spot. No one was going to displace Tua this season.
I imagine it will be Mac Jones that takes the field against USC

Based on Boz, he's leaning towards coming back.
Heard Galu is leaning towards him coming back. I think it's better than 50% he comes back.
He may have already heard what he needed from the NFL...15 is the magic number.
Think Taulia plays a factor. If I had to guess now, he's returning his senior year.

Not to mention that, while he loses millions if he drafts low, he loses all his millions if he comes back and breaks again.
Galu was quite clear that money is a secondary thing for Tua and his family. Tua views football primarily as a platform to share his faith. I have no idea whether he'll try to do that from an NFL bench or the Bama bench next year (I still doubt he'll be able to play next season), but whatever he decides, the money will not be the only factor in the decision.

That's much bigger than Tua returning.
I'm banking on either a prominent college HC going to the NFL or the retirement lake...

Could be Tua. I think it's a coach coming back to college.

Meyer or Stoops.
Possibly Lincoln Riley headed to the NFL.

Seems like that it too little too late. Fire Helton before ESD, and you might get some interest. At this point, there aren’t enough high caliber players to make it worth it.

His name is already hard enough to pronounce.
