UGA also had the best defense ever.

UGA's front seven are great. The back four are decent to good but not great. They aren't close to the Washington secondary.

The crazy thing about the 2014 team is they could have and probably should have beaten Ohio State. They had a 21-6 lead but Kiffin insisted for some reason to keep throwing the ball instead of feeding Derrick Henry who was gashing the OSU defense. OSU got momentum and ended up taking the lead.
Blake Sims had an awful game with a couple of costly ints.

True. We give Henry 10 more touches that game, then we probably win, maybe by multiple scores.

I'm was more referring to their quality of opponent. I honestly think Jobe would have been an All-American had he been on their team, facing the offense they faced.

I might have to disagree. No I think at least one of the corners at Cincinnati has been projected to be a first round pick. This is based on evaluation from NFL scouts which is not solely based on the level of competition.
Jobe is not a cornerback. He won't be drafted as a cornerback. If he goes in the draft, it will be as a safety.

I’d take the skill players of this offense over 2014 and 2016’s offense with the exception of the running backs. This team also has more fight in it than 2018 did.

2019 Oklahoma was worse.

I'd take this team over 2014, but that's about it.

2017 Bama looked terrible heading into the postseason but part of that was an accumulation of injuries

Oklahoma was better on one side of the ball than MSU was on either, but Oklahoma's defense was worse than either MSU unit.

Most real fans don't care to disrespect an opponent before the game.

Cincinnati will bring their A game. Count on that.

I made the mistake of re-watching the Auburn game recently. This team needs to focus again and come up with some stellar plans on both side of the ball. That sure makes it fun though... there should be no illusions going into the playoff this year.

Props for the recollections of those other playoff games by the way. So cool to think "where were you when". I remember sitting in a Dulles International Airport bar for the Washington game, waiting to fly overnight to Europe with zero other Bama fans... thank you Saban.

I think that Sparty team was the worst we’ve played in the playoffs. Either them or the Irish. Cincy actually makes me a little nervous. I think they’ll give us all we want.

Michigan State was way outmatched. Don't take Cincy lightly. I'd say Sparty was the worst, and we can't know about Cincy until the game starts.

I think MSU was better than Cinci if we're being honest. We rolled them, but they won a strong conference.

Ridder doesn't really scare me when you break down his stats

Oh? I was unaware that it mattered one bit what fans thought of their teams opponent.

I stand corrected. Had no idea. I thought that you saw MSU and thought that it was Michigan State. doh!

Cincinnati is Alabama’s NEXT playoff opponent. Nothing else matters.
