What's the deal with Brain Johnson? Honestly not sure what to make of it reading his wiki. Seems his longest OC position was Utah roughly 2 years and left to be qb coach at Miss St. Then rinse and repeat a couple times after that. OC back to qb coach? Was he let go from play calling duties at those other programs?

Too many others out there including peeps on staff who have more college experience then Zow. Hell why not just hire Watts.

I think we just go ahead and hire both of them as CO-OC’s. Then we let them alternate play calling duties depending on the opponent. Hell, maybe even depending on the series. Opponents won’t have any idea what to expect.

Just give me AJ Milwee and get it over with.

Have both the offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator from Alabama.

OC- AJ Milwee
DC- Jeremy Pruitt

We will win the SEC & National Championship!

Gotcha and thanks. Those articles sounded pretty convincing about his abilities. I wasn't sure what to think reading his wiki(seems to be off from that article),I honestly didn't know nothing about him.

If the Eagles' OC gets an NFL HC gig, Johnson will likely be promoted to OC there. Otherwise, he might be interested in the Bama OC gig. He's a good fit and it's a good move for him too, imo.

Miami has officially fired their OC, former Alabama wide receivers coach Josh Gattis. The grass hasn't been greener on the other side for Gattis. He's a perfect example of coaches coming to Alabama to elevate their resume. Everything he's done since has crumbled.

But he had the notebook from Alabama’s 2018 offense.

He just didn't have Tua Tagovailoa, Josh Jacobs, Najee Harris, Damian Harris, Jerry Jeudy, Jaylen Waddle, Henry Ruggs III, or DeVonta Smith on his roster in Miami.

Craig Kuligowski was fired from Toledo for apparently an act of retaliation, so former Bama coaches are flaming out all over .

Miami's short list…..
Tommy Rees
Joe Brady
Marcus Arroyo

I have heard bad things about Gattis' attitude.

You remember the rumor was Gattis thought he'd be Harbaugh's replacement if Harbaugh was to get the Vikings job? If true, Gattis might be delusional too.

Would not surprise me.

Also I just saw this article in regard to Gattis being fired:
Did the Iowa Hawkeyes next offensive coordinator just hit the market?
