JD and Q are almost assuredly gone after next season. Shack should be back. Primo and Ellis probably could go either way depending on what kind of season they have. But you can’t count on either after next season, which is why I think Oats went after Gurley and let Wilson go. Next season is our shot at a Final Four run. Not to say there won’t be opportunities in the future but we’ll have to reload a little after next year.

What incentive would Ellis have to come back for a 5th year? He's a long and athletic 2/3 who plays great defense and shoots a good % from outside. That's a pretty solid pro skill set, and he's not getting any younger.

Our players are going to be sharing a lot of minutes next season. Its possible Keon's playing time could go up significantly after next season.

There's nothing to complain about with this years team so you people are choosing to freak out about the 2022-2023 season. 
Oats and staff has shown they can sign good HS players, good Transfers, good Jucos, kids want to play this style. I am not gonna speculate about the players we are gonna have on a almost two years from now but I am sure we will be fine. PEople thought this year would be a rebuilding year too after losing Petty and Herb.

By forfeiting his redshirt he recieved for missing 2019-2020 that makes him a Senior in 2020-2021.
Meaning he would be a “Super Senior” next season so he wouldn’t count toward scholarship limits

I am not in this conversation but if people didn’t speculate , critique , offer opinions , etc this thread and all really would be dead... I mean it is the off-season , what else is there to talk about ?

Technically, all scholarships are only for 1 year at a time. Kids have never had a guarantee. Why do I know that? Because years ago, several recruits said in interviews that Saban was the only coach who told them that.

Here is a good interview with Burnett that happened after he committed to us. He goes into a little detail about why he chose TT out of HS, why he left there, why he chose us this time ect. He also says he thinks we will have the best college backcourt OF ALL TIME this year and that he just wants to do whatever it takes to win.

There are plenty of things to talk about that arent negative, like how we just had the best season we have had in almost 20 years, have arguably the best class we have ever had coming in, how we are projected to be in the top 5.
This place is just so doom and gloom since the season ended and when someone says something about it its “frick you we can speculate”.
Bama bball fans have had a reason to complain for a long time, but the ones still doing it constantly now I have to think are the type of people that just want to be miserable.

Those guys are speculating or giving an opinion on possible roster combinations .... I didn’t see gloom and doom

I don't really think it's doom and gloom just more of a place of not really knowing what is going on and quite frankly not really knowing what the rules over everything are. Either way, it's probably time to move past all the transfer portal/roster movement stuff. I think we've got our 2021-2022 roster pretty close to set at this point (fingers crossed).
And it's damned good.
