Pringle still has another year if he wants it. If I'm not mistaken
Not sure how the COVID year works with JUCO players. If he has another year, that's great news. However, it would make me wonder why there was never even a question about Ellis returning last year.

With the big recruiting news, we've been crediting Oats for that but let's not forget the schedule he once again has to be credited for, two big ooc games before conference play.
I appreciate Bradley but I hope the veteran guards put him to work. I hope he has success there, just not this game.
Also Kennesaw State is gonna be a fun team to watch. Bama jr.

Looks like UNC fans bullied Stevenson into disabling comments on his announcement post.

How soon can he sign? Committed is one thing but I want him on the dotted line.

Oats is getting it done. We’ve been waiting a long time for our program to reach these heights. Let’s enjoy this ride. In Oats we trust. Roll Tide!!!!!!!

If we get Brown, have the potential be very good. Don’t see many minutes for the freshman this year though.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But looking at the roster, wouldn't Nelson and Stevenson be out 12th and 13th scholarships? Would we even have room for Jordan Brown?

For all he's accomplished, IMO one of the more undervalued aspects of Oats' tenure has been his ability to accumulate quality depth.
It felt like Grant and Johnson struggled at times to simply fill out a complete roster, let alone stock reliable minutes off the bench.

04 • PF - Pringle (6-9, 220)
05 • C - Nelson (6-10, 223)
06 • Bench G - Estrada (6-3, 195)
07 • Bench G/F - Wrightsell (6-3, 189)
08 • Bench G/F - Cosby (6-5, 193)

Can't speak for anyone else, but this is probably the thing I value about Oats the most. He's got a very clear recruiting plan. Because

Oats is an elite recruiter. In a few more years I'll probably get to the point I'm at with football where I barely pay attention to it anymore unless someone commits.

One of those freshman is going to have to play a significant role if we are going to be good.

After committing to Alabama and re-classifying, Jarin Stevenson comes in at No. 45 in the 2023 On3 150
Alabama’s recruiting class is No. 13 in the On3 Team Rankings
No. 45 Jarin Stevenson
No. 93 Sam Walters
No. 97 Kris Parker
No. 100 Muhammed Dioubate

Agreed. Gonna need at least one of Walters, Parker, Cosby, and Stevenson to be a reliable 3&D. I am confident we will get good outside production from the backcourt, but we are definitely going to need a wing to step up and they're all freshmen besides Griffen and he's only really a wing in a small ball lineup. Walton being a dumbfrick really hurt us there.

Hopefully Stevenson gets to a level where he's a starter. Really like the look of:
JQ
Sears
Griffen
Stevenson
Nelson
Estrada first off the bench.

Damn man if we had Walton. A long big wing.

Walton would be perfect. 6’8 and a respectable three point shot would be a terror hazard with our current personnel.
Hoping Rylan has been able working on his defense. He played well against Wendell Green in Auburn and basically shut him down in crunch time.

I’m telling ya’ll, ya’ll are sleeping on Estrada. Would be very surprised if he doesn’t start
