Fever, I agree. We were getting down 10 to 16 points to start the games before he moved Q into the starting lineup.
We really didn't have another point guard, so he needed to be out there as much as possible. I think it was the last game we won in the ncaa tournament, the other coach said something like, Q killed us. We couldn't handle him. I just hope he decides to come back, but I'm not all that optimistic.

The whole JQ off the bench thing kinda took root a couple of years ago because it was working then. He was fine in the starting lineup this year after Bradley turned into a pumpkin though. You can't forever pigeonhole a guy into a role just because he excelled in it at one point during his career.

It's been pretty routine for him. Starts off not doing so well, loses starting spot, turns it on during March and gets his starting spot back, rinse and repeat. Hopefully, he can start playing like every month is March.

We certainly need him back in the starting lineup with Bradley leaving. We are going to be in trouble if he leaves and we can't find a stud PG in the portal.

We won’t be taking the easy route in non conference this season whether we’ve got a good team or not.

I’m good with that, as long as it’s not part of a 3 game, top 15 team trip.

According to a report from Joel Lorenzi of the Omaha World-Herald, Alabama and Creighton have scheduled a home-and-home series, playing at Creighton this upcoming season and returning to Alabama at a later date, likely the 2024-25 season.

SI reporting too. No need to read the article. They made sure to go in depth on the “missed opportunity” to play Creighton this season.

Is it me or do we always play away first in home-and-home series in both basketball and football? Not that it matters, just find it interesting

I am hearing from someone I trust that it will be Preston Murphy, Saddi Washington and Austin Claunch. Murphy and Washington will be great recruiters and Claunch will be the x's and o's guy replacing Henry.

Any ideas of when these coaching hires might be announced?

We made Aaron Estradas top 4. Back to back CAA player of the year.

Looking at that top 4, would be pretty disappointing not to get him.

Read that Estradda is projected to Cincinnati, but we are trying to get him to visit.

What’s the probability that we don’t fill one of the last roster spots?

Think we left one open last year and wondering if we are in a new transfer portal age of not filling out the roster. Development guys don’t want to sit on the bench for more than 1 year and transfers want to know they’re going to play if they transfer somewhere.

I would expect we fill all of them. May leave one open at most.
