It doesn't surprise me about Caleb Love. I dont think every player is like that, Matt Bradley was at SDSU and he has a nearly 400k nil evaluation. I doubt he was getting that much at SDSU.
Speaking of NIL I saw recently that JQ’s NIL evaluation is close to 500k.

Wonder how having two vacant coaching positions may impact transfers (both in and out).
I really like Oats, but it’s hard not think about “what could be” if our NIL was up to speed with others (Arky). Need the dough to compete in this new, crappy world of CBB.

The days of building a team that stays together 2-4yrs is over. Coaches will have to learn to piece teams together on a year to year basis. Or try and buy championships

I think we’re gonna end up with some very good transfers. Walton is a great start.

BJ Mack, Estrada and Walton would be great additions.
Just need Quinerly to return with Sears, Chuck and Griffen.
I’ve been assuming w/ Pringle returning as well but are we sure he’s back? Just realized I haven’t heard anything on him. I guess not being in the portal is all we need to know rn.

If we ended up with Estrada, Mack, and 1 more solid guy from the portal I would be very happy.

I think that’s best case scenario at this point. After doing some reading, would be stunned if we didn’t end up with Mack. He seems to be our main target right now. Hoping for Estrada, but wonder if he would sign on here knowing Q may come back.

Jaden Bradley headed elsewhere, I have to wonder when he made that decision given his play down the stretch?
Maybe it was just time for a change of scenery?

He was never the same after the Miller stuff. Not even close. Probably just needed a change of scenery and a fresh start. Can’t fault him for that. Hope he does well.

Unfortunately probably not. I think we'd want him to be the combo guard we had hoped Burnett would be though, so it wouldn't be an issue on our end.
I hope we can sell him on that idea though, because he'd be a perfect fit for us in that role.

I’d like Denver Jones, Estrada, and hopefully a 6’9 6’10 big who can stretch the floor and block shots. Really impressed with Estrada’s game. Good shooter and doesn’t seem to be a selfish player. He sets up his teammates with nice shots.

I think Oats would love to have multiple combo guards who can shoot, penetrate, and pass. Sears is one of those, and Estrada would be too. I hope Estrada is a high transfer target for us - also wonder if JQ knows him since he seems to stay in touch with the New Jersey guys, like Jelly Walker at UAB.

Did you actually go to Bama? This could not be more wrong in my opinion. Where near campus in Tuscaloosa is even remotely close to as bad as the Northgates of LSU or Tigerland area?

LJ Cryer didnt list us in the schools that have contacted him. So I guess we aren't in the mix unless its a “secret”.

He’s involved with Alabama AAU stuff so he does have some connections with in state recruits, he was right about us getting Sears. As far as the recruits from outside of Alabama idk if he knows much or not.
