I'm holding out hope that Darius Miles is going to take a big step forward and be our starting 3 next year. He's got talent and size. But we need him to become a grown man and stop all that kid shite.

Give me:

Bradley
Burnett
Miles
Miller or Gurley depending on match-up

Kidding aside, best of luck to him over there. Athens is a cool town .

Gurley is so painfully average to me, not bad but not necessarily an impact player the vast majority of the time. If we land Akot(speaking of does anybody know if we’re actually pursuing him hard or is it board speak?) I’d much rather have an athletic switchable 4 like him starting over Gurley

Think that tweet got deleted but got to think they just jumped the gun a bit and it’s true.

1. Agreed on Gurley, I view him as more of a role player off the bench. With a year of experience, hopefully, he can shoot the ball a bit better and contribute more defensively. We'll see.

2. Akot has been pursued but someone on BOL, I believe Tim, that there are some concerns with him. Haven't heard any updates since then.

Would have been a very good pick up but he wants to play primarily the PG position.

I look for Gurley to really put in that work this off season though.

I hope Darius Miles do as well.

At 19 years old, Josh Primo is the YOUNGEST player in the NBA and G League, but he has serious game!

The 6’6 guard averaged 16.7 points, 5.9 assists, and 3.1 rebounds for the @austin_spurs and 5.8 points off the bench for the @spurs. Stay on the lookout for this young man.

It would've been so freaking huge to have him for one more year but happy he's already making an impact at the NBA level.

Was surprised to hear Eli Gold calling one of the Austin Spurs games in those highlights.

Probably just because they were playing against the Birmingham Squadron.

Wow, didn't realize the new Villanova coach, Kyle Neptune, is only 37 years old.

Arrinten Page in the midst of a breakout spring

Arguably the hottest name to start the spring sessions has been Arrinten Page, a 6-foot-10 big man out of Atlanta (Ga.) Wheeler.

His charge on the national stage began in New Orleans at the USAB Junior Mini Camp where his size, length, rebounding, rim protection and his finishes at the rim caught the eyes of evaluators and began reeling in high major offers.

In Orlando, coaches were flocking to watch The Skill Factory post and the interests haven’t stopped.

“I have been very blessed with the recruiting process,” he said. “I got a couple of schools like Alabama, Georgia, Wichita State just to name a few.”

Alabama: “I have been talking to coach Pettway for a while. He said I keep getting better and better and he was waiting for the moment to offer me.”

Georgia: “Coach White kind of offered me out of the blue. 20-minutes. We will see I got to talk to my family and stuff like that.”

Indiana: “Their fanbase is really good. Coach Young, he’s saying that he likes my potential and my ceiling.”

What’s he looking for in a school as the calls come pouring in?

“Just somebody that’s willing to help me develop even more and use my talents.”
