Nate hitting that sweet spot in recruiting. A mix of transfers, 4 stars and a few 5 stars.

Just keep stacking wings with length. Seems like that’s what consistently makes sweet 16+ teams.
We couldn't do shite to Duke and Florida last year because of how much of an advantage they had there.

I like Bouie's highlights much better than Washington's. Two good gets though.
The longer you watch Washington the greater the appreciation. I thought he looked a bit awkward at first, but he's a legit 6'9 and he's aggressive as hell. He also doesn't play that finesse 6'9 style when he gets near the basket. His finishing is pretty top level.

I’ll take length and physicality at the rim

I watched his highlights on 247 (I think), and thought his offense was pretty weak. They showed all his plays in a big game. After watching, I wasn't very impressed with his offense but thought he looked great defensively. But his highlights on 247 are much better. I'm still concerned about his shooting percentage. But he's still young. And being a about a #50 guy, isn't someone you'd expect to have an immediate impact. If they do, it's just a bonus.

I didn't realize how similar his profile is to TBB coming out of high school.

If Washington could play 2-4, that would be impressive as hell. That kind of versatility is priceless.

Ah. Though, if you've been a lifetime Bama basketball fan and not in middle school or early high school then you almost certainly know these are the good ol' days right now.
Never thought we'd have a top 5 type coach in the sport...but we do...

Checked out practice today and i left even more excited than last time. We are getting after it on defense and we are long. Going to be greatly improved there. LW was back in action and man we missed his 3 point shooting last year.
Speaking of 3 point shooting this team has IT. Philon looks greatly improved. Jalil can flat out shoot and Mallete .. what a shooter but more importantly a leader. Aiden looked sharp too. Really everyone shoot well.
As mentioned the length of this team is so diff from last year. Bowen is athletic freak. Freshman look good .. be interesting to see how all that shakes out. Still think AA can be a star.

I really liked Theo Ratliff going up. He was one of those players I had an irrational appreciation for when I was like 12. I think it’s mostly because he has a cool arse name.

Same thing happened to him in Chicago. The Bulls have sucked since he left and that was a decade ago.
