I’d also enjoy A&M taking an excruciating loss after the great comeback

I can’t believe Oklahoma lost that game. I’d be sick

I've dogged him all season but Jarin hasn't let his offensive struggles impact his effort on the floor one bit. Well deserved hard hat last night. His redemption arc is going to feed families.

My gut tells me that he goes really hard in practice and is very successful on the offensive end, but it just isn't translating to games for whatever reason, thus the long leash. Hopefully the lightbulb comes on for him soon.
Also, Holloway deserves some hype. I really hope he comes back next year. Went from a wildly inefficient chucker to making nearly 40% of his 3s and 60% of his 2s.

Holloway has mastered those tear drops, at this point I just expect them to go in

Oats has mentioned his defense multiple times. I subscribed to Evan Miya’s website that has lineup breakdowns. Will try and post a little deep dive at some point

The guy plays very hard.. I honestly feel like he is playing too fast in many cases. Not necessarily too hard, but just frantic at times. If he will ever learn to trust his length a little bit and not panic when smaller players get by him, his defense could be pretty elite. But was proud of the guy for getting scrappy on loose balls. He took two pretty hard falls last night, one of which was when he tied Pringle up. Im not nearly as high on Jarin as a lot of people are, but I will always gravitate to guys who put defense in front of offense and i think he is doing that this year.

Of course, the downside is that we have a guard shooting 20% from deep.

I think offensively he forgets how tall he is. He misses a lot of layups or short range shots finessing things when he really just needs to try and dunk on somebody.

Women are down 29-7 against Texas after the 1st quarter. Yikes

45-18
Believe Texas ended their season last year too

I concur. He rushes his shots a little bit. Just doesnt seem really comfortable usually. Would love to see him get some easy layups but the offense doesnt usually work that way. He is not in the post a lot and teams are playing off him to give him a shot instead of cutting to the basket. So his easy shot should be the corner 3. But he has been cold. He needs to use his size more, but also be more sudden.
Really he just needs to have a game where he drops his balls and lets them hang. I think he has it in him. Oats does too or he wouldnt be starting.

WBB coach is the Jason Garrett of UA athletics. Stealing $$$ year after year. Good thing for her that so few care.

She's 15-2 and lost to number 5 team in the country. Been to the last few tournaments. She's doing a decent job.

She took over the worst team in the P5 and turned them into a perennial tournament team.
