The things you learn at the ballpark. Apparently she had not signed yet and was not happy that LSU fired* the basketball coach so she moved on to Arizona
Arizona adds Alabama grad transfer Ariyah Copeland, a big boost for the frontcourt
*correction: ‘resigned’

What is going on with the WBB program?
They just made the tourney for the first time in twenty years and all the good returning players transfer out?

The transfer portal with a free waiver this year is blowing up programs just about practically anywhere and everywhere.

LSU just threw down the gauntlet in WBB. Hired Mulkey away from Baylor. Aside from the obvious jokes about L$U about to be a women’s basketball school after the NCAA castrates the football and men’s basketball program, I don’t like the ramifications of this.
I see no way Kristy Curry can stand toe to toe with Mulkey and have any hope of winning those battles. Alabama needs to start vetting upgrades immediately so when she crashes and burns next season, we can have her replacement in our crosshairs.

Yea........I mean........I don't care. I just want women's basketball to be competitive. It's hard for me to muster much more emotion than that.

Yeah I don't really care about women's basketball outside of us not being bad. I have tried to watch it, but I just can't. It's not even remotely compelling to me.

Also.... with Mulkey gone from Baylor... any chance Jordan Lewis decides to stay put in Tuscaloosa?

Who fricking cares? When Moody had us rolling and constantly in the Tournament, we still NEVER beat Pat Summitt... and I would glady take those days again over the climb we've been on since 2000.

There's another option in there

Copeland and Lewis both should be done playing but are taking advantage of the free year of eligibility the NCAA gave all athletes. The fact we just made the tournament for the first time in 20+ years and we're losing our best players (not named Jasmine Walker) to other schools is...not good. Maybe it's time for the Ninja to make a change.

They are not overly optimistic about next year but we’ll see how well she worked the transfer portal. I’m sure Byrne won’t be caught flat footed if the decision is made to make a change.

I honestly think it’d be pretty shitty to fire unless we’re atrocious. The team is coming off their first tournament appearance of the players’ lifetimes.

That reminds me, I am glad Harmon from Oklahoma ended up in the PAC-12. He fricked us up as bad as those refs.

I’m not gonna freak out if Primo stays in draft. It just gives someone like Darius Miles his chance to step up and I think he is more than capable
