That’s a tall order, man. If we could do that, we’d be a 2 seed instead of a 6 seed.

That Notre Dame offense scares me. Teams always shoot it well against us compared to their averages and their averages are already pretty damn good. That looks like a bad matchup to me. Bring on Rutgers! Big Ten always stinks it up in the tournament too.

Rutgers will be a lot more athletic than ND I’d imagine.

Yea bring on Notre Dame. A team that makes jump shots, fine.

A team that has guards that are gonna stress us on both ends and get us into foul trouble + control tempo? Kryptonite.

Also, the turnover thing is a huge deal. If we don't turn the ball over we're a top 25 team. A whole lot of our turnovers come off of stress. A team that doesn't stress us is a huge plus.

Over the last 10 games Notre Dame is #357 out of 358 D1 teams in causing turnovers.

Oh shite, maybe they'll only force us to turn it over 15 times.

You have to bake 10 passes into the stands, moving screens and dribble screw ups regardless of competition for sure.

Doesn't Rutgers have Ron Harper, Jr.? Who is going to TRY to guard him?

ND? RUTGERS? TEXAS TECH?

“they can get it, too!”

What I would give to have JP’s attitude, defense, and even shooting this year. Hope we can end on a high note and coach is right, overall, this has still been a good year and we have a chance to do damage in the tourney (or fall flat…which happens to good teams every year).

I knew we missed a huge Final4 opportunity by the way we lost to UCLA last year given the draw, but it was the first year back in the tourney and we had a lot to be thankful/hopeful about. I was just hoping we would have several good chances in the years to come as even a top 2 seed generally only has a 25-30% chance to make the Final4. That means you have to be a top 2 at least 3 times to feel really good about making a final 4 (or you could include 3s but it drops probability wise a decent amount). This year didn’t pan out to be a top seed like we’d hoped, and it just makes you realize how rare it is to be one of the top 8 teams in the country and have a legit shot at Final4. I’ll be thankful if we at least win round 1 and give Texas Tech all they can handle, anything above that is pure icing at this point.

Alabama might not be ranked in the top 25, but the NCAA tournament committee slotted them No. 21 — or the best of the four No. 6 seeds.

2022 NCAA Tournament bracket: Ranking every team playing in March Madness from No. 1 to 68

quote:

24 Alabama

A lot of good teams failed to win a conference tournament game; Alabama's another one that qualifies. A year after getting a 2-seed, the Crimson Tide have been one of the biggest enigmas in the sport. It boasts wins over Gonzaga, Baylor, Houston, Tennessee and Arkansas. Losses to Iona, Missouri, Georgia and Texas A&M are also there. The Tide could lose by 10 in the first round or they could blow out two opponents on the way to the Sweet 16. Bama thrives off getting to the rim and scoring. This team's flaw is it is poor from beyond the arc (31.1%) yet it takes more than 22 per game.

Pretty wild. We win those last 2 games and we are probably a 4 seed.
