So what happened in this one? A&M shoot lights out or something?
It was actually unremarkable- A&M kept scoring and we kept allowing them to score. Defense was a total mess tonight, worse than usual

On the plus side, we don’t play any more games at Coleman this year, so our offensive and defensive efficiency numbers going forward should be much better.

Yea nothing about tonight was fluky. They whipped our arse.

No defense, no energy, turnovers, no leadership. Lost by 16 at home to A&M. That”s all I got.

I know I am suppose to be, God said we should be; but I'm sour about this team.
This team should be way better.

I wonder what the deal with Holt not getting any minutes was?

At this point it's very difficult to figure out what is going on with the lineups. And as someone noted above I don't think that's very helpful at this point in the year.

We're about to be in our first consecutive NCAAT since 2006. No one will remember this season 5 years from now.

Should they be tho? All the hype around this team started before Primo decided to stay in draft and Nimari Burnett got hurt. I remember being worried once Nimari went down

Not on the coach...when we get rid of the players we need to get rid of then you will see a change.

Yea, this isn't some sort of blow up the program game. It's just another frustrating performance by a frustrating team that has probably underperformed overall.
But, when your frustrating team is a lock for the tournament 3 weeks out it certainly means something good about where you are as a program.

I don’t like Nate constantly changing the starting lineups

Not on him...defend your box! I will be happy to see the right players leave.

JD, JQ, and Shack just aren’t good defensive players

As soon as this team sort of puts together some decent games, we're presented with this.
This team, at best, will only win one game in the SECT and one game in the NCAA. Just way too inconsistent to string together quality efforts and wins.

If we have another year like this one in 2022-2023 then I can feel comfortable with knowing what to expect out of Alabama basketball until they eventually stagnate and Oats gets canned.
He needs a rebound year to prove that 2020-2021 was not a fluke.
Right now I’m kinda checked out on this year’s team but still hope they can figure it out really late and make some noise. I don’t see that happening.

It is a little on him. It just is. He's not immune from critique when the team does the same thing over and over and there are no adjustments made in game once it becomes evident it's happening again.
It's not all or even mostly on him, but it's certainly partially on him.

Stop spazzing. You had guys who were committed to playing DEFENSE that's the difference.
