Oh yeah, that definitely wouldn't have caused any problems with Juwan "I'll fricking Kill You" Howard.

Herb should be a mature player because of his age and he's had a lot more experiences as a basketball player then JD.

I'm just saying...

No defense for Howard.

Part of his job is helping kids grow into mature men. His actions were cretainly no example to be setting. You can forgive a player with punishment for this kind of behavior but a coach shoud be held to a much higher standard. He probably should have been fired.

I think it’s been already stated, but if you’re not going to fire a coach for DUI (see Mark Few or even Pete Golding), then you can’t justify firing for “swiping” a guy’s face, IMO. DUI should have more severe consequences. That said, Howard needs to grow up…this stuff is getting old and we’re fortunate it didn’t turn into a repeat of 1972 Minn/Ohio St brawl. That was ugly.

All I will say is this...Gary has work too do. Did anybody see Alex Tchikou in the video on Twitter? It looks like he got some of his explosiveness back just something to keep an eye on.

Going out on a limb, but it sure would be swell if we won tonight.

I have fully embraced my low expectations for tonight. Would be a tough turnaround from at Rupp on Sat to at Memorial on Tuesday night even if we had strong leadership. We don’t..so I’m expecting to see low mental fortitude and guys that look tired mentally/physically. Hope I’m wrong and we shoot lights out and decide to defend/rebound!!

Definitely interested to see the rotations and if Oats “sends a message.”

Same here.
Especially when Oats went on his rant about playing defense.
I fully expect Pippen to score a career high tonight along with Alabama shooting <20% from 3 point land.
Mix in a sub par performance from the free throw line, too and and overabundance of turnovers.

I don't know how to do the link thing. It's on Alabama Men's Basketball Twitter account though.

We will defend tonight that's a guarantee but the major question will be is...How long will they defend?
