I’m about ready to admit it. This is just not a good 3 point shooting team. I don’t care what prior seasons say should be happening for these guys. They do not shoot the 3 well. And that’s a problem for this offense that wants to be FT, rim and open 3.
It’s crazy but it’s a bunch of guys whose shot looks good… until the end of the shot.

I need Oats to explain why we defend the ball handler so tight and high in the half court defense. It just causes our ball defender to consistently get beat off the dribble.

I think our passing is affecting our shooting at times. Like a lot of times you’ll see us take a 3 that was technically open, but the pass wasn’t perfect so we’re not really shooting in rhythm.
It’s not the whole story, obviously. We also miss plenty in rhythm.

Defense has been atrocious this half. Fortunately the offense has been good.
