We're 16-9 (6-6) with the toughest schedule in the country and have basically clinched a NCAAT bid by early February for the 2nd straight season, and have a Top 3 recruiting class coming in next year.

Oats ain't perfect but man he's given us all what we desperately wanted from our program the last 20 years.

Damn right he has. Anybody who questions his hiring / job performance to this point must have not been a fan long

Remaining: v. Mississippi State @ Kentucky @ Vanderbilt v. South Carolina v. aTm @ LSU A 4-2 record here would be sufficient

Protect home court and get one of @Vandy or @LSU.

20-11 record with this schedule is pretty damn good

I mean frick that coach who has made us a relevant basketball program again! We should go back to the high post offense like the good ole days when we averaged 61 PPG and went to the NIT every year

But we're not winning by double digits every have, and shooting 60%. Obviously he sucks. Give me a Bennett Virginia offense and a Will Wade defense. That's my kinda basketball.

Yeah, it was an ugly win. But it was still a win. It's ridiculous how upset people are in this thread.

I thought Bediako & Holt played really good.

Memphis at Houston…who do we root for?

I’m gonna say Memphis because I think Houston is gonna stay Q1 no matter what. We need Memphis to get back into Q1

Glad we won. Arkansas beat Auburn the other day, so I'm not sure a 1 point win is bad here.

Wish I had watched, but I was filing my taxes and totally forgot the game was at 11.

5 game stretch post UGA games looked brutal and we all said it would define the season

- Baylor (W)
- @ Auburn (L)
- Kentucky (L)
- @ Ole Miss (W)
- Arkansas (W)

1-2 vs Top 5
2-0 vs rest

Success

If we take care of the ball it’s a blowout. That’s the frustrating part. But still a good win that might end up Q1

If we do that, and hit more 3s, we're close to undefeated.

If we hadn't fricked that up or shite the bed against Mizzou and UGA this season would have a very, very different feel.

Yea no doubt. Just a split there and we're 17-8 (7-5) and probably thinking we could finish strong and get a 2/3 seed.

Regardless, we've been more consistent since UGA. Still flawed, but we definitely haven't lacked focus or effort.

Need to kick State in the nuts next week.

Just watched some highlights. We had 60 points with 9 minutes left...and only ended up with 68? Seems frustration is warranted.

The defensive effort today was good. We had some dumbass fouls and still fricking suck at getting in the right spots to grab rebounds (Holt needs to keep playing more if only for how good he is at reading the ball off the rim) but we made them earn their points.

I think Mext Saturday is winnable if we play well. Kentucky is not as good at home this year as they are on the road

From a made basket at the 9:06 mark to a made basket at 1:38, 7 1/2 minutes, Alabama went 1-7 shooting, 5 turnovers, and no offensive rebounds.
