NET doesn't update until tomorrow.
I don't think there is KP movement, but that can happen even though a team's AdjEM can increase, which I'm sure Bama's did, even though relative to other teams it is still 16th.
Nevertheless, how they can be 16 and 21 even before this game is head-scratching.

The NET thing is an absolute riddle to me. All of the inputs have Alabama ranked higher than the end #

Davidson won at Saint Jo's by 15. They are now 11-2. Be nice if they and Iona would keep winning and Memphis would not absolutely crash.

Lol... Yeah about that

They do this every year though (generally with a little less talent). They always end up in the same place - 19 wins, 11-5 in their league, etc.
2019 : 22-14 (11-7)
2020 : 21-10 (10-8)
2021 : 20-8 (11-4)
2022 Torvik Projection : 18-10 (12-6)

Alabama is 21-2 in the last 2 seasons vs the SEC with losses @ Missouri and @ Arkansas.

This Texas Tech/Iowa State game is awful. Tech only has 7 players and it is tied at 40 with 2 mins left

Tchikou must really suck being 6'11 and 230 or more and can't find any PT at all with all the foul trouble our bigs get in.
With James Rojas about to get healthy enough to play he might as well free up a scholly and find somewhere else to play, because he'll never play here. If I were him I'd be visiting with Coach Oats and hitting the portal.
Maybe he has, I didn't see him on the bench.

What a win tonight. Second half was one of the better halves we’ve had this year. Would love to put Missouri away early on Saturday.

This is pure speculation, but I'm curious if he's just not in basketball shape at the moment. He's put on over 30 lbs since he got here last year, and a high cardio sport such as basketball burns a LOT of calories. It seems Oats and the staff have prioritized caloric surplus, and heavy weight/low rep lifting with him. Selfishly wish they'd start his cutting phase now, but it's important to keep in mind he is a reclass, and is a freshman with room to grow in the eyes of NBA scouts.

That’s a pretty cold position to take on a freshman coming off an Achilles.

I was impressed with KAH tonight. He battled against Castleton.

Not really. He's a year removed from that Achilles. He should be seeing SOME PT but so far has seen next to zero and his prospects are for zero.

The weird thing about Tchikou is, even if he is Moussa Gueye bad, at 6’11, he should at least be worth 5 Daniel Giddens big-man hack fouls in a 6 minute cameo when healthy and Bediako/Gurley are in foul trouble like last night. So I’ve got to believe it’s still a health issue.
His window for any PT whatsoever this year closes entirely when Rojas gets back. He will fall to 5th behind Bediako, Gurley, Rojas, & KAH in a system that plays 1 big.
That doesn’t mean he is completely done, though. Way premature to say that. Miles played exclusively with the walk-ons last year and is playing 17.1 mpg this season.

People have absolutely no patience anymore. He may never get meaningful playing time at Bama but it’s WAY too early to declare this. Plenty of examples of players taking 1-2 years (even healthy years) to develop and then are big contributors as upperclassmen. Even in today’s world where everyone thinks every freshman should be ready to contribute immediately.

Feels about right for how the team has played.
Objective resume wise, however, it still feels a little low.

SIAP: When is Rojas expected to return? Has he played yet this year?
