It seriously feels like there's going to be some big time recruit on campus pretty much every day for the next 2-3 months. While we have obviously recruited successfully, the last few classes have not really been like this. Seems like we have officially arrived as a destination program, which is pretty cool.

I think last season and the Clowney/Miller combo draft wise kind of confirmed to people that Oats and the system are legitimately elite and kids watched us play and wanted to be in it (and follow it to the NBA).

Shockingly the media smear job on Oats and Miller re: the murder seems to have done zero harm to the program brand. Suck it.

Grant needs to be up there with Stackhouse and Pitino on that best dressed list. And Buzz? Did he drop out because that vest he wears is always too tight? I know back in the day Wimp would have been high on the list with the plaid jackets.

Pitino, Stack and Cronin are your top 3 (now that Wright is gone).

They are in a class of their own. Cronin wears fantastic clothes.

Chad, would it be possible to update one of the first posts with the dates our targets are visiting? We’ve had so much activity recently with making top 5s or visits set up that I can’t keep it straight.

Yeah, I can make it happen. I was actually already thinking about doing it, but got annoyed thinking about having to try and look them all up since I haven't been keeping track of them somewhere already.

I'd put Pitino at #1 just because he's the only person who can pull off an all white suit without being a 1980s drug kingpin or rapper.

This is what I was able to throw together real quick. We don't have any 2027 targets yet, so this replaces that post on the first page. I probably missed something so let me know and i'll keep it updated.

Your point stands but I’m like 98% sure Pitino is a mob boss.

I mostly agree. Except I'd say it's the only potential college job that concerns me.

I'm fully on board with an average major game. But not Liberty. Playing them gives those hateful bigots legitimacy that they don't deserve.

What are you hearing on Cam Scott?

He'll be announcing soon.

Twitter says Oregon or South Carolina, but that's not from anyone relevant.

Cam Scott has taken official visits to Auburn, South Carolina, Texas and Oregon.
He has not visited Ole Miss and Alabama.
It's actually Top 4.

Miller…your shorts…woof

On the MSU job, I’ve said this before but as a fellow “Wisconsinite” and Packers fan like Oats…he’s not leaving the south for a college in the bitter cold. Have you seen the videos of him wake surfing? You get about 6 weeks in Michigan or Wisconsin to do that and it’s still freaking cold. The Pistons or Bucks are the only jobs in Michigan or Wisconsin that he would consider. KY, FL, and maybe UNC/Duke are about all we have to worry about in college. Kansas could be intriguing, but if he’s winning here there’s no reason to leave at all.

Not Bama related but I know he’s been mentioned in this thread. Just saw this tonight even though it happened Monday.

He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.
