Kansas is who it will be, but I'd personally have us above them (with Sears). They return a lot and added a lot in the portal but they also lose 2 first round talents, including their leading scorer from last year's roster. Meanwhile, we would return our leading scorer, and most of our biggest impact players (minus Estrada and Griffen) from a Final Four roster whose famous Achilles Heel was missing a defensive 5, which we fixed by adding one of the best in the country last year both in college (Omoruyi) as well as in HS (Sherrell).

In summation, with Sears, I think we return more than Kansas does. Their portal class might be a little better in terms of talent, but we fixed our biggest weakness through the portal and added a HS class that is way better than their's. Not saying we will be better, but on paper, I think it should be us as pre-season #1 (with Sears). If the rosters were reversed, there's no question it would be Kansas. Having said that, it is a title I'm glad we won't have to deal with to start the year.

I've told it on here before but I got to watch a Florida State UConn scrimmage before the Covid season. The man is a lunatic. Screaming at FSU coaches , FSU players sitting the bench , Hollering at observers like me in the stand at this shite. Wish Leonard Hamilton would have beat his pipsqueak arse that day. And FSU had a ton of talent on that team.
