Didn’t he originally commit to or maybe even enroll at MSU after graduating high school?

How many schools did NOT have players enter the portal?
I thought I heard this morning on Sirius XM radio that it was an extremely low number. Like under 5%.

Says we are communicating with DJ Jeffries.

quote:

Memphis transfer DJ Jeffries, a one-time target of UA's in the 2019 cycle, is in the Transfer Portal, and is communicating with Alabama. "We are considering Alabama," Jeffries' father told BamaOnLine. "We've had several Zoom calls with the entire coaching staff." In two seasons with the Tigers, Jeffries averaged 10.3 points and 4.8 rebounds. As a prep recruit, the Olive Branch (Miss.) standout ranked as the No. 9 power forward and the No. 52 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. It's not clear which other programs are heavily in contention at this point in time or when a decision could come. Mississippi State is another program of note to potentially watch.

Until Slater says otherwise, he’s MSU bound. We don’t need him with our roster.

What? Are you d*mn kidding me? If Nate pulls this guy too I’ll be dancing in the f*cking streets. I mean yeah, we look pretty good right now, but not turn a 5-star down good quite yet.

Not kidding at all. The 3 is not a position I worry about at all with our roster as currently constructed.

He’s not better than Rojas? He’s a 5-star that averaged 10 points & 5 rebounds as a freshman.

Rojas isn’t gonna be the one he replaces

He had an offensive rating this year of 95.7....That’s worse than everyone on our team this year except Rojas. His offensive rating in conference was 89.2.....pretty bad

Bama's Walker was drafted #7 in WNBA Draft. Is that an all time high for the program?

I'd guess, even hope for their sakes for feedback, that we see

- Shack
- Primo
- Quinerly
- Ellis

all declare and go through the circuit and get feedback. Shack probably least of all, honestly, because of his game and build. But Primo, Ellis, and JQ could definitely use a solid review and feedback of where their games stand.

Shack isn’t an NBA player IMO. I imagine when he finishes his career here he will make a lot of money overseas.

I like him getting feedback tho, should help him improve which should help the team get better
