Clowney shooting 18% from 3 in the last 14 games. Lost his confidence.

Still playing solid D. Is he hurt?

I noticed some of the stands had a hasty “fan friendly pricing” page. Hot dogs and fountain drinks were $3.99. Guess that article on concession prices forced some changes.

I agree.. someone on staff should have stopped the pat down in January.

It’s terrible optics and honestly it’s tone deaf on our part.

We just continue to not get out of our own way..

To me Clowney looks like he’s kinda hit the freshman wall.. he looks tired.

Hopefully he gets his 2nd wind soon

I don’t think he’s hurt. He’s just lost his confidence. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if he only shot when wide open and tried focusing his game on slashing to the rim and getting putbacks to close out the year.

I feel selfish for hoping Oats was mentioned JQ coming back because JQ is honestly leaning toward that.

I'm kind a disappointed in the court system to be honest with y'all because a gag order should of been placed on the situation.

Well you got me lol. Just for clarity I didn't downvote. I don't even downvote the people who insult me

He does look tired. I understand the higher level of competition but I don't really get the freshman wall situation. In high school, these high level guys play a long high school season then roll into travel league play. They already play almost year round anyway. Maybe the better competition and stress of league play?

I doubt most of these guys have ever played in games this physical. If you ever get the chance to sit down close, you can really see how tough it is down low.

“We’ve gotta learn how to close games better, too. I think they scored 20 points in the last two and a half minutes or so. So give Arkansas a ton of credit. They’re a talented team. Nick Smith’s obviously really talented. They never quit on it. They got down, they hung in there. They gave themselves a chance there in the last 30 seconds. And give our guys a lot of credit after being down nine at the half, coming out, playing as hard as they did in the second half, getting a win." - Nate Oats

How about not taking Sears out of the game towards the end of the game?

Oats is a great coach but sometimes he has some head scratching moves. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, though. Maybe it was due to his tight quad or something?

College basketball is significantly more physical than high school basketball. Especially for a big.

Arkansas shot 5/22 from midrange today. After a certain coach said that the midrange is an analytically “good”shot.

Watching the relay after seeing game in person. Holy shite Jimmy Dykes should not be allowed to call Arkansas games. Going on and on about how Arkansas is “the best team in the league at defending the three”. Like, no, dipshit, they’re behind Tennessee, Bama, Auburn, and Georgia in 3p% defense.

I'd have to go back and watch it again, but is it possible that it was a simple offensive/defensive switch that ended up looking like a bad coaching move?

He's basically Lou Holtz if Lou Holtz had regularly gotten to do color commentary for Notre Dame football games. Just brazen, unapologetic homer nonsense.

I swear that ESPN intentionally put Dykes on the call for both of the Arkansas games this year just to piss us off. He’s very knowledgeable about the game but his clear bias is disgusting.

I think he wanted a bigger defender out there and it backfired because we weren’t able to get a stop.

How butthurt was he when we were making our huge run in the 2nd half? I imagine it was pretty good.
