Northwestern is hammering Iowa. They're going to end up being the 3rd best team in the B1G behind Purdue and Indiana.

The Grambling loss is what separates them. Without that Vandy would 100% have a better resume

Their KenPom and NET is much much better than Vandys because
1. Preseason Numbers
2. Vandys MOV is usually very close
3. Vandy has a 57point loss and losses to Grambling and USM

Preseason numbers are gone by now.
Vandy was really bad for about half the season, same as A&M. So when you have a full season rating it's gonna have to include that.
And like you said, the loss to us was so incredibly off the charts that it destroyed their efficiency numbers in total.
They're #80 overall since Christmas on Torvik. I'd guess if you removed both our games vs them they'd be around #50. It was that bad, even as just 1 game.

Vanderbilt has only had 3 games since December 4th in which they had less than 1.00 pts per possession (out of 19 games).

Really the only metric Vandy beats UNC in is the quad 1 wins. UNC has twice as many quad 2 wins as Vandy and of course dont have the terrible losses.
I know it was technically a quad 1 loss but losing to us by 57 couldn't have helped Vandys metrics. Vandy has had some stinkers.

Vandy is 6th in the SEC right now and should split their last 4 games, that would be a good finish for Stackhouse. They've been in the bottom three of the league for the past 3 years.

Yes that is correct. We could lose every remaining game and we would still be in the top four of the conference. Hopefully we don't take that route.

Would be a wild recruiting pitch to basically say "LOL look at this guy he runs offense like every successful team in the NBA why would you wanna go there"? I'm guessing he just got asked a question about their 3PT shooting and got frustrated and did the same thing Cal has done which is reflexively fight back against the narrative.
Also, Muss' team shoots less 3s this year because they suck at it. They haven't been some mid range centric offense in his time there or anything.

Oats has had 4 wildly different rosters in his time here and has never had anything but a good offense (often great)
