Oats when told Saturday is a "white out" against Arkansas: "We got a white out? Is that what we got going on? I like it. Let's see the whole place packed in white. Let's not have an empty seat in the building. ... We'll put on a show they'll be proud of."

Oats: "Arkansas is a good team. We need to beat them to stay in the hunt. We got 4 games left, we're only 1 game ahead of Texas A&M. As well as we've played all year ... we're still only 1 game ahead of Texas A&M going for the SEC. All these games are big."

Nate Oats tonight on "Hey Coach" about South Carolina (3-11): "They're a good-shooting team. Our league in general has been fairly poor shooting the ball. But South Carolina's got some real shooting they put on the floor."

Oats: "Their record is not great. They beat Kentucky at Kentucky, though, let's not forget. ... This is a league where anybody can beat anybody, and with the shooting they put on the floor, if you don't bring some energy ... they'll make shots and beat you."

Alabama will honor Noah Gurley, Dom Welch and Adam Cottrell on Senior Day this Saturday against Arkansas, according to "Hey Coach" tonight.

Q trying to come back again next year or maybe not doing him because they honored him on senior day last year?

Oats is trying to speak into existence confidence for everyone on the team. I did think it was interesting that Welch got in way before Griffen on Saturday.

Any of y’all season ticket holders get the email from UA saying if Bama gets sent to Birmingham, they aren’t allocating any tickets? Glad I bought the NCAA presale tickets not actually thinking Bama would get sent there.

Parents did. Made them buy the max 4 to all the regionals and the Final Four

Welch looked pretty lost early on but he's looked much more in sync and flow the last few games he's gotten minutes.

Having another wing who can make 3s, defend and rebound is never a bad thing. What a roster.

I’ll be opting in and hoping for the best. Not confident in getting them for future rounds but doesn’t hurt to try.

I got the email. Was pretty surprised that Birmingham was excluded. Already bought my session 3 Saturday tickets so I guess it doesn’t matter. Requested regional and final 4 tickets.

I cannot believe I just typed that as an Alabama basketball fan. Rmft

I don't get it.
How are tickets distributed for the first 2 rounds? I figured each school would always be allocated some amount of tickets, albeit it may be very few

That’s how it normally works so it doesn’t make sense to me either. Through this process, you can request first round tickets to every location but Birmingham. I guess maybe UA figures if we went to Birmingham that all our allocation would go to internal AD use so it wouldn’t even be worth to open it up for allocation?

ETA: during the NCAA presale, I’m pretty positive that the only options to buy were upper deck so it’s not like the whole arena was able to be bought out.

Gotta respect the BIG 12. Hard to say if it’ll be a real difference maker in the tourney because in the past we’ve seen deep conferences put out early but every game played is a dog fight in that league.

SEC is a good conference but there have been many games for us this year that feel cupcake worthy.

A lot of that is just how good we are, though.

Get prepared for Kansas to be the #1 overall seed on Selection Sunday. They’re pushing that HEAVILY.

I mean they do have 14 Q1 wins. And it doesn’t effect us at all if they are #1 overall because they will pick the Midwest and Kansas City.

So Louisville would still be there for us at #2 overall

Are tickets hard to come by on resale market? I messed around and waited because I wasn’t sure I could make it with work. Now I have vacation scheduled but no tickets.

They were even gassing up Bill Self for Coach Of The Year...and I'm like there's 4 coaches at the top with him... In my opinion!

Jerome Tang (KSU)
Rodney Terry (UT)
Buzz Williams (A&M)
Nate Oats (UA)

Tell me what Coach has a lineup that's made mostly of Freshman? Who already won twenty games with Freshman leading the team? What Coach/Team beat #1 Houston on the road in a hostile environment with Freshman leading the way?

Bill Self or anybody else for that matter can not compete with what Nate Oats has done especially if he keeps winning because this feat he's pulling off is extremely hard to do.

No. They’re available on any resale site…just way overpriced from the initial presale value.
