Nah, it's true.

We played beyond HORRID offensively and still had an opportunity to win.

Nothing from Clowney, Sears, JQ or Rylan...if this game is played in Tuscaloosa buddy that's house money.

Exactly. Let's not dwell on this 1. Move the focus to Georgia.
We knew AU and UT back to back on the road was gonna be tough.
Got the 1 on the plains.
Still 22-4 overall.
12-1 SEC.

Games with TO rate > 25% vs Top 100
UConn (28.5%) - lost by 15
Gonzaga (25.4%) - lost by 10
Tennessee (27.5%) - lost by 9

It isn't rocket science

We lost a game to a good team on the road guys. We didn't play great. It happens.
Played loose with the ball, didn’t shoot well, had comically bad officiating, and still in it until the last minute. The world isn’t ending, and I’m confident Tennessee will get bounced early because they absolutely suck on offense and they won’t be allowed to physically assault every team they play in the tournament.

We knew a month or more ago that this 2 game road stretch of at Auburn and at Tennessee was going to be the biggest hurdle of the season. Came away with a split and had chances in the loss.
Tighten up and let's get back on some Ws

We gifted the Vols Ws in both FB & BB.

Dang it!

No freedom of movement allowed us not to have a competent offense. If UT can guard like that, they’re a tough team. If more fouls are called and it’s free flowing, it’s a different game. It wasn’t though and our guys never adjusted nor stop being terrible with the ball. I didn’t understand our rotations tonight but I think the staff got as rattled as the players with how the game was going.

It’s a regular season basketball loss on the road to a top 10 team. Nothing about that warrants a melt.

If you’d told me before the game how the refs were going to call it, UTk would’ve been easy money.

A slow, laboring game favored UT.

Gurley & Pringle should of played majority of that second half.

Disagree. Beating your rivals is as important as anything in college sports.

Tennessee needs home field advantage to squeak out wins over Bama. Come down to Tuscaloosa and get the score run up. Tennessee players running their mouths after the game of course.

Turnovers. That was it. Tennessee benefits playing dirty on defense at home and playing “physical”. The officials should not have that much impact on a game.

We lost on the road to a Top 10 team who has the best defense in the nation and who was desperate for a win. And we had a chance to win it. Turnovers were concerning but let’s step away from the ledge a bit.

Most definitely not jumping off the ledge over here...we will see them again and I hope it's in the SEC Tournament.

Google is pretty clear - turn it over a bunch we lose. Don't turn it ever we never lose.

Not directed at you Joka, sorry for not clarifying that. Just some of the other posts I’m reading. Some folks are way too pessimistic

They have the #1 ranked D for a reason and they played maybe their best defensive game of the season. We still would've been right there with them had they not gotten all the 50/50 calls in the 2nd half. I give them props for their defense. I hope we play them again I think we beat them by 10+ if we do.

At the end of games from now on Bradley needs to be at PG.
