Each year we award the prestigious "Anthony Grant Great Record Bad Losses = NIT" award to the team that most personified that classic of all classics - an Anthony Grant 20 win NIT team.

The finalists are

Clemson - 18-6 (10-3), #70 NET, losses to #276 Loyola Chicago, #272 S. Carolina and #175 Boston College

Pittsburgh - 17-7 (10-3), #52 NET, losses to #215 Florida St, #100 Vanderbilt and #83 VCU

Oregon - 15-10 (9-5), #50 NET, losses to #119 Stanford, #95 UC-Irvine, #77 Utah Valley, #68 Colorado (by 27), #63 Arizona State (by 17)

Texas A&M - 17-7 (9-2), #37 NET, losses to #235 Wofford #207 Murray St, #68 Colorado by 28

He's a big driving force behind all of the current conference realignment and totally fricked the SEC by hitching our wagon to ESPN. I would also say his handling of coaches behaving badly has been pretty uneven. Especially if these rumors about Ole Miss looking to hire Wade come to fruition.

They're the frontrunner right now. On track to finish top 2 in a P-6 conference in the regular season while also needing to win the conference tournament to make the NCAAT.

It's the purest strain of the 2011 Alabama basketball resume that I've seen in many years!

One day we'll get another Saturday home game against our rival, it's been since the 2016-2017

It sucks. I'm sure the SEC tries to balance out 4 to 5 of each team's 9 home conference games to fall on a Saturday. Of course, we only get 4. Plus the Big XII game was on the road.
And those 4 are Kentucky, Arkansas, LSU, and Georgia.

So Auburn is 339th in 3-point percentage at 29.25% and we are 2nd in 3-point defense at 26.1%. I'm sure somehow these will add up to Auburn going 15/25 from the 3 point line Saturday.

This is the only chance I think Auburn has to either win or keep the game close, which is entirely possible. But if they have a normal shooting day and we don't completely dookie all over ourselves and shoot poorly, then we should win by double digits. We are just the better team by a wide margin I believe having watched Auburn play a few times this year.

Or the imbalance of fouls called. Anyone know who the refs will be?

They will make some huge runs tomorrow. We need to not melt down and just keep playing. You know it's coming. Play for 40 minutes, keep your composure and win the game.

They'll probably set an NCAA record for 3's made and 3pt percentage.

a 1 point win at the barn would excite me to no end. But a 50 point win would probably make me wet my britches.

Arkansas freshman Nick Smith Jr., has been practicing the last few days and the hope is that he returns tomorrow night at home against Mississippi State. Smith, a projected lottery pick, hasn’t played since Dec. 17 due to knee issue.
