The SEC was much better last year though. UK was solid and Arkansas was very good and neither is good this year. Also Auburn won the regular season SEC crown but is awful this year.

The SEC is way down this year, so like I said, us being undefeated doesn't mean a lot right now.

Don’t know about the flight, but we did not have a regular shoot around at the arena this morning. Just pregame.

Ill be a lot more worried if theyre close games than if we blow them out.

Sears and Clowney are combined 3 for their last 38 threes after both shooting over 40% from three the month before that. If they get back to shooting like theyre capable of Ill feel a lot better going into the @Auburn @Tennessee stretch.

We definitely lost the blue collar battle these last two games too, which is something thats rarely happened this season. I want to see us playing a lot tougher.

This is true.

I made some dumb posts earlier today about this team, but they’ve proven they can play hard and scrappy. I hope they come back with a chip on their shoulder and run through the rest of this SEC slate with tenacity. They definitely are able to do it.

We’re still the 2nd #1 seed according to Lunardi.

We'll see if we can hang on to the #1 seed after we get through this last SEC run. Its up to Oats and the team on what happens. But good to see we have the national 'belief' in us overall.

If the tournament started today, yes Bama would be a 1 seed.

After likely losses at Auburn, Tennessee and possibly A&M along with the arse whipping this awful OU team gave Bama, a 3-4 seed is more likely.

So you think if we finish 25-6 (15-3) we're going to be a 4 seed?

Let me guess, we're gonna lose our 1st round game too?

It'd be cool if we could ban posters from individual threads, because this one is fricking intolerable after a loss. At least losing a game in football justifies a meltdown.

It's pretty obvious the SEC isn't that great this year, other then Tennessee.

Alabama has one top 25 win, a good one though. The last two games have proved Bama can lose to anyone. So sure, they could get bounced in the 1st round. I would predict a Sweet 16 loss though.

Alabama has 6 Q1 wins, more than anybody in the country outside of Purdue.

Tennessee lost by double digits to Colorado and at home to Kentucky. Purdue lost at home to Rutgers and almost lost at home to Maryland. Kansas lost at home to TCU by 25. Houston lost at home to Temple. UCLA lost to USC. TCU lost to Mississippi State and to Northwestern State. Kansas State should have lost to LSU. Arizona lost to Washington State.

You could apply that statement to literally any team in the country.

JMO but I think we lose at AU and UT and one at home.

Getting to the sweet 16 would be great.

Yeah but when they lose it's a temporary setback. When we lose it's a sign of impending doom. As we all know, actual good teams don't lose their first game of the season until rhe Final Four.

This place turns into a literal hellhole almost as bad as the rant. Makes it hard to want to have any discussion.

what percentage are you giving for Bama making it to the final four? and where does this loss drop us in the polls.

I mean this could be the start of a bad stretch. There are some concerning signs the last 2 games. It could also be a bad 2 games - one that includes a win against a team whose next outing was beating a top 12 team FYI.

It's a long season. One week in January is a blip on the radar and is certainly not a definitive statement on how the season will end. Good or bad.

I mean shite guys we just blew out Mizzou in Columbia 7 days ago. They turned around and blew out Iowa State on the same floor yesterday.
