Rylan saying Oats warned them about this and they didn't listen actually makes me feel better about today. They'll damn sure listen now. And I keep seeing folks saying they're surprised the state game wasn't a wake up call. I'm not.

I've coached for a lot of years and one thing I can tell you is that a struggle win where you play like shite and win anyway is never a wake up call. More than anything it gives players a sense of invulnerability that they can win no matter how they play.

A real wake up call is when a team blows that sense of invulnerability to pieces by whipping that arse from buzzer to buzzer. Hopefully that's how our guys take it.

I agree there, and they actually missed a couple of wide open threes, they could've shot 80%.

Oklahoma definitely played their best game of the year and we played our worst game of the year.

It had nothing to do with us being overrated, we’ve definitely earned our ranking with the schedule we have played.

Hopefully we learned from it, cant take any team lightly even if they just lost by 27 earlier in the week. Oklahoma has good players and should be a tournament team imo.

Absolutely. We didn't play with urgency, they did and they schemed us and then executed. They played a great game and we didn't respond well at all.

We're a good team with some flaws that we've gotten away with. Those were exposed today. Time to get to work fixing them.

Thats true and Houston just lost at home to Temple who isnt good, UCLA lost by 14 to USC who isnt very good. Its basketball, the best teams can lose to average teams if they dont show up ready to play.

All teams have some stuff to work on, the goal is to be peaking at the right time which I feel good about. Freshmen tend to get better as the season goes and we have some injured guys that are good who should be 100% come March.

Yep - everything very much still out in front of us. And I still like this roster a lot.

We're starting to look a bit like Auburn last year. Started off red hot and cooling off as the season winds down

Idk, they lost 4 of their last 8 SEC games, we haven't lost an SEC game yet. Way too early to say that.

They were playing their worst ball of the season at tournament time.

Quinn plays fearless on offense. Sometimes that's good, sometimes.... well, y'all know.

I will say, if we come out sluggish and disinterested early on Tuesday night......a bad 2 game stretch moves into problem territory.

Very much so.

I’m not entirely convinced Tennessee won’t run the table. It’s unlikely because there are so many games left, but the SEC looked pretty suspect today and UT has been on fire.

Could be any number of things that led to today. They could have had a bad trip out there for all I know.

I do think there has been some buying in to the hype. Hopefully today wakes them up and we get back to winning. Agree with everyone else it's not panic time yet.

If we lose any of these next 3 then we have a problem.

Thankfully its a stretch where we should be able to get right.

They have some tough games coming up. INPO @Kentucky @Auburn @Tamu, and they get Alabama, Auburn, Mizzou, Arkansas at home.

It's also the case where if we win, it won't really tell us much until we have a big test again.

Let's just hope we look good and then see what happens with the barn and UT.
