Yeah I think us without Miller would whip Purdue without Edey. We have an overall better roster.

I agree and while Miller is great he probably isnt gonna have any 22 rebound 35 point games like Edey has.

Id still take Miller over Edey though.

He had us at number 1 even before Houston and Kansas lost if I remember correctly. I agree with him, I would rank us 1st. We have played the 3rd toughest schedule in the country and only have two losses.

We pass the eye test too, when you watch us then watch the other top teams we just look like the best team right now.

Here are some things that are still on the table historically for Alabama and the last time it’s happened in program history:

- Last #1 ranking: 2002
- Most wins in a season: 2001-02 (27)*
- Undefeated conference record: 1956

*1986-87 had 28 wins but NCAA took away 2 wins

Bracketology

I’ve seen this projection on two sites. One in south and one for east. This would be a dream draw if it holds up.

Even if our ranking doesn’t show #1 tomorrow, I feel like I’ll be watching the best team in the country in person Wednesday night in the hostile confines of The Hangar.
Can't wait. This team's ceiling is higher than the roof at Coleman.

Without Miller we would still be a top 25 /second weekend team with Final 4 potential.

Miller makes us National Championship good.

I agree.

We’ve got 3 studs really (no homo) in Miller, Clowney, and Sears, with Miller obviously being the best of them.

Last Week, Nate Oats Showed Why He's the Perfect Leader for Alabama Basketball (SI)

Oats' leadership through a situation impossible to prepare for not only showed his character but also why he should be in Tuscaloosa for far longer than his current contract.

Honestly, Fever, I take Goodman's opinions to be as valuable as a plug nickel. They are counterfeits aimed at sensationalism and hot takes designed to get attention via trolling. He is what WWE used to call the "Heel". He get's attention by being a cad.

Right now Goodman is getting clicks by cozying up to Alabama fans. As soon as things go south, he will be trashing us for clicks.

Are you thinking of the correct Goodman? This is the national media college basketball guy, not the weird one from AL dot com.

Lol…think of it this way, would you pay $100 for Bama to be a 1 seed playing in B’ham in March? I know I would!

That happening depends on Bama, not Houston. Or any other team, for that matter. Bama was already predicted to be the #1 in that region before the Houston loss.
