We've gotten a lot better at not pressing.

Periodic reminder that these should be our permanent uniforms.

My updated rankings list to emphasize how deep we are…
Can’t believe a guy like Jahvon Quinerly came back and barely cracks our top 5. Like I said earlier, I believe the Top 9 is our March Madness rotation. So sick!
1. Brandon Miller
2. Noah Clowney
3. Mark Sears
4. Jaden Bradley
5. Jahvon Quinerly
6. Charles Bediako
7. Nimari Burnett
8. Rylan Griffen
9. Noah Gurley
10. Dom Welch
11. Nick Pringle
12. Darius Miles

Now that JQ is starting to press less and play smarter, I feel like this kind of applies to our whole team. We play fast but rarely play in a hurry.
I think we look a whole lot more comfortable than even 3 weeks ago. Defenses pressing them does not seem to bother them as much anymore. UCONN made us uncomfortable and got us out of our rhythm by pressing us out beyond the arc and then cutting off passing lanes. Now our guys go to the rack a lot better when pressed. Last night was a good example. Sears wore out Arky going hard to the basket. Funny thing is, it was really Iso-ball. Not completely, but things really got started by playing iso-ball, driving and either laying it in, kicking it out or dribbling back out.
Having more qualified ball handlers makes dealing with the full-court press so much less stressful. Remember when we would have only one guy on the court who wasn't a serious libability trying to dribble the ball? It was nothing like having Sears, Miller and Quinnerly handling the ball for us.
This is like when we had James Robinson, Robert Hory and Latreeeeelllll Spreeeeweellll all together.

I was a student during the post Elite Eight Gottfried era, so I remember when we would only have one guy on the entire team who wasn't a serious liability trying to dribble the ball.

No. 4/4 Alabama Returns to Coleman Coliseum to Face LSU
Alabama men's basketball will look to improve to 5-0 in Southeastern Conference play, as the Crimson Tide faces LSU at Coleman Coliseum. The Tide is looking to improve to 9-0 at home this season and for the first time since the 2014-15 season (won first 10 home games), when the teams square off Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
The Alabama-LSU matchup features two of the best scorers in the conference, as LSU's KJ Williams ranks No. 2 in the SEC, averaging 18.5 points per game, behind Alabama's Brandon Miller scoring a league-best 18.8 points per contest.
The Broadcast
Saturday's game is set for a 3 p.m. tipoff and will be aired on ESPN with Tom Hart (play-by-play) and Jimmy Dykes (analyst) on the call.
The radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network with Chris Stewart (play-by-play), Bryan Passink (analyst) and Roger Hoover (sideline) on the call, while Tom Stipe (engineer) is turning the dials. The pregame show will begin one hour prior to tipoff.

Feels like that went on for a decade. But those days are gone. Jaden Bradley usually does a really good job against the press. Burnett when he comes back can bring the ball up too. I've never seen so many contributors on an alabama team. Zero bums on this squad.

Why are they sending us east?

I hope we get the opportunity to play in Bham again this season.
