Since the location of the games is the biggest Bammer city in the country I'd guess not.

Is there any possible way to tell what the tip time possibilities/likelihood are for the Bama game Saturday assuming we get by A&MCC?

Tide favored by 24 tomorrow. For reference, the line of the 2021 Iona game that we eventually pulled away in was 16.5

Hoping no Bama player has to go for more than 25 minutes Thursday and everyone stays as fresh as possible. Don't mess around with this team.

Yeah we need to put them away as quickly as possible. That second round game looks to be tough no matter if it's WVU or Maryland.

I’d suspect we’d be relatively early since we play early today. But that could be viewed as a big draw and shifted until early evening. So to answer your question, I obviously have no idea. Either midday or early evening.

No way to know the tip times for Sat. They'll be released after most of the games are over Thursday so they/cbs can see the matchups.

So Mich and Providence played the first 2 Thurs games in '22 and didn't play the first games that Sat fwiw.

No team favored by more than 21.5 has ever lost in the NCAAT.

Biggest Vegas upsets

1. #15 Norfolk State (+21.5) vs #2 Missouri (2012)

2. #16 UMBC (+20.5) vs #1 Virginia (2018)

3. #15 Santa Clara (+20.0) vs #2 Arizona (1993)

4. #15 Coppin State (+18.5) vs #2 South Carolina (1997)

5. #15 Saint Peter's (+18) vs #2 Kentucky (2022)

We should give them major problems with our length. Starters will likely be:
Bediako (7'0") - Keys (6'8")
Clowney (6'10") - Mushila (6'5")
Miller (6'9") - Tennyson (6'5")
Sears (6'1") - Williams (5'10")
Quinerly (6'1") - Jackson (5'11")

They like to run, so I could see Bediako playing a more minor role with Clowney at the 5, Miller sliding to 4, and Griffen/Bradley getting extended minutes. But then again, Bediako camped out at the rim would let everyone else be more aggressive guarding 3s, which they shoot pretty well.

Since 2000 Alabama is 5-0 in games we are favored by 24 or more in (yea only 5 - that's pretty wild).

12/20/22 - Alabama -29.5 vs Jackson State (won by 20)

11/6/18 - Alabama -27 vs Southern (won by 20)

1/3/11 - Alabama -24.5 vs Toledo (won by 42)

11/28/06 - Alabama -25 vs UL Monroe (won by 14)

11/19/04 - Alabama -24.5 vs Western Carolina (won by 31)

Since 2000.........
- Alabama is 20-0 when favored by 20 or more
- Alabama is 28-0 when favored by 19 or more
- Alabama is 30-0 when favored by 18 or more

Looking at NET rankings I was frustrated that we have to potentially play WV or Maryland in the 2nd round but you look at the other 1 seeds and I’m not sure I’d trade. This is the ncaa tournament. You have to play good teams no matter what.

I want no part of Memphis or FAU in the 2nd round. Nor Auburn, Iowa or Arkansas.

I’ll take WV or Maryland compared to the other 8/9 seeds. Regardless of what the NET says.

Plus neither is great away from home and neither has been tearing it up lately either.

Give me Maryland, though, if for no other reason than the style of play shock from WVU's full-court defense.
