Tough way to end the season.

I really feel like Bediako could become a household name in this tourney(I at least hope so). It seems like the pundits rarely mention him.

It’s all about the 3s when casuals talk about Alabama. Most will be surprised by our length, interior defense and rebounding.

I keep hearing how Ballo and Tubelis will give us fits if we face Arizona...I think Chuck and Clowney will be the ones creating disruption.

I’d like to see the SEC do well but it wouldn’t surprise me if we are the only SEC team to get out of the first weekend.

State's so bad at putting the ball through the hole.
11 more shots.
21 more rebounds.
Still lost.

This year's Crimson Tide squad has a chance to make a deep NCAA Tournament run, something that hasn't been done in almost 20 years.

The rest of the SEC can take a long walk off a short pier. They hate us and want to see our demise. That being said, I believe that Auburn will beat Iowa and Arkansas probably beats Illinois. I hate both teams but that’s probably what will happen.

The Stars of March: The 10 players to know in the South Region

We’ve spent a good amount of time this season analyzing the best NBA prospects playing college basketball.

But sometimes, the best NBA prospects are not necessarily the best college players. So, heading into the NCAA tournament, let's focus exclusively on the latter and examine the players most capable of becoming stars of March Madness.

Here’s a look at the names to know in the South Region:

quote:

1. BRANDON MILLER | SF | ALABAMA

Stats: 19.6 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists

While it's not always the case that the best college player also makes for the best NBA prospect, but's what we've got in Brandon Miller. Miller has been the premier freshman in the entire country all year long and has led the Crimson Tide to their first No. 1 overall seed in program history.

Miller is must-watch tv as a 6-foot-8 scorer who can fill it up from all three levels. He's made major improvements to his long-range jumper and has continued to grow and mature on the court all season long.

Miller is on a mission this March having already bulldozed his way through the SEC Tournament on the way to Tournament MVP and now will look to do the same in the weeks ahead to ultimately cut down the nets.

No. 1 Alabama will play the winner of No. 16 SE Missouri State/Texas A&M CC on Thursday, March 16 at 2:30 PM ET on CBS
