I'm glad we lost today with how we played.

First, understand, I'm not arguing with your post - but, from an offense and defense perspective, the team played well enough to win in every phase of the game except 3-point shooting. The offense generated plenty of open shots (including 3s) and the defense was great most of the game; if Bama merely makes 30-35% of their 3s, the foul/free-throw disparity doesn't matter and Bama wins comfortably. And even with all of that, if either the non-call on obvious goaltending and/or the BS charge on Miller were called accurately, Bama probably wins. So Bama shot 3s poorly, the expected Doug Shows referee clown-show swings at least 5-10 points to aTm, a very loud, hostile crowd chanted "lock him up" every time Miller touched the ball, and still had a lead late in a road game vs. the 2nd best SEC BBall team. So many obstacles and the team still had the heart and mental toughness to have a chance to win late. Hell, I will take that every day and expect Bama to win most of the time.

This has been a very special season (26-5, SEC champs) and it's not over - we have Oats and a ton of talent - 30+ wins is within their grasp - relax - enjoy the ride - RTR.

I was more talking about the slow start we had, we got behind 9 to 3 and really it should have been worse than that. We turned it over a ton early, again.

Aside from that we played well enough to win, despite all the missed threes.

Hope the extra rest cures what ails us and we show up at noon on Friday instead of around 1:30.

Jaylen Clark, one of UCLA’s top 3 players likely injured his achilles tonight, he’s the probable pac 12 defensive player of the year. Hate to see it for real but it puts a big damper on their title chances.

Did y’all see Dianne Woods buzzer beater to send the game to OT?

How the hell does that guy have eligibility? He was on the Sexton team wasn’t he?

always thought it was best to lose in the conference tournament if you are in the ncaat.

FWIW, Lunardis last update from late last night still shows us as the top seed, but his description declares it's Kansas.
With probable OK analysis, he states a loss at Texas is better than a loss at aTm. And Houston doesn't have enough quality wins.

To be honest, even if Kansas gets bumped in the first round of their tournament and we win the SECT, I still figure the NCAA , wanting to distance itself from the Miller issue, will give the superficial "top overall seed" to either Kansas or Houston.
