The closer to the game it gets the more I feel like we’re gonna take care of business. I just hope we dont get off to a slow start again like we have in the last 2 games. It’s a lot easier to overcome slow starts at home than it is on the road.

Very true.
Last 3 games we were down at the half.
South Carolina/Down 4
Arkansas/Down 9
Auburn/Down 7
However, our guys are mentally tough, very resilient. Won those games.
Even against top ranked Houston, were down big, won the game.

Yeah we did come back at Houston thats a good point. We do have a very resilient team.
We got off to a fast start vs Houston though, we were up early and fell behind more around the end of the first half/start of the 2nd half. Still was impressive to come back and win down 15 or whatever it was and showed a lot of toughness.

Hope he’s right about this one, but seems to contradict conventional wisdom and several experienced championship caliber coaches, especially for players in their first year. It’s not apples to apples, but NBA, MLB, etc. all have load management for new players. Dead legs can really cause problems for shooters.

Considering college basketball players don't have AAU ball, camp circuits, etc. I bet they play fewer games than high school kids.

That’s probably true, but AAU doesn’t seem nearly as physical or the demanding style of SEC basketball.
Agree with the rest until SECT, but with us playing on Thurs in Bham, I wont be overly disappointed if the team doesn’t make the Sunday game.
Hope we win tomorrow but would still like to see some more min for a few bench guys to see if we can get them going.
