Is 3 of the top 10 good?

Seems like that would be good.

We now play 7 top 50 KP teams in NON CONFERENCE. SEVEN!!

There were whole seasons under Gottfried where I don’t think we played 7 top 50 KenPom teams. In 2011 under Grant we played 7 all season. Including the postseason.

I love Nate Oats fearlessness with his scheduling

Coach hod at arkansas state loses to iowa by 14.

Keeping asu competitive in games they shouldn't be in.

I don't think Oats percieves us to be a mid tier-secondary sport basketball program and I'm all for it.

Any at home?

It'd be nice if we could get some more of these at home, instead of on the road/ neutral site locations.

Bham. We never play well there.

Except we just won our last 2 there enroute to the Sweet 16.

the upside for Arkansas fans is that only the tourney matters.

and that's not aimed at you pio.

Next year we get Arizona in the CM Newton Classic in Birmingham and Creighton in Coleman. Wish we would get more Big East teams, though our FOG fanbase would assume UConn is terrible because their football team is terrible. The Big East is a really good hoops league.

Depends on who you consider our starting point guard.

Only thing that worries me, is that with Oats getting older, carrying around that giant sack has gotta hell on his back. We might need to get him a wheelbarrow to help carry those balls around.

The issue is when you schedule like this, good teams will beat you if you don’t come to play.

This quote from Musselman is unreal given their schedule and who they lost to.

Such a huge difference in how Nate and Eric run things. Nate would have gone in on his team's effort (many might consider it overboard) and Eric builds up the competition to be something it isn't (which is too far in the other direction).

Estrada & Sears needs to see the floor BETTER. Estrada needs to work on setting others up because he can get his ANYTIME. Scoring is very effortless for him.

I think Estrada has been the best (at least the most consistent) set up man we've had in a long time. Doesn't force the issue and has shown good vision and execution.

I know who he is (and so does John Thompson) but what does that have to do with a backup PG? Please stay on topic or move to that board.
