I let Stackhouse know there’s a spot open if he wants it

I’m not sure there’s another coach in the SEC that Nate hyped more than him for the sets they ran.

Sarkisian and Kiffin both failed as a HC before taking a position here, and they are the two best offensive coordinators that we have ever had (not to mention they're now very successful HCs). Again, it's not happening, but we'd be extremely fortunate to have Stackhouse as an assistant.

Like Bryant mentioned, Saddi Washington is probably the most realistic candidate.

That's kind of my position. Stackhouse won SEC coach of the year last year and had really resurrected a Vandy program that was in the dumpster. Then he lost 3 players to the transfer portal prior to the start of this year (2 starters) and the general consensus was that Vandy refused to play the NIL game.

He wasn’t wrong. Stack had a keen mind for it. For all of his other weaknesses his offensive sets weren’t one of them.

Yaklich is the replacement. Let's not start fooling around here.

This seems quite fair....
Both the big bracketologists have us as a 4 seed in Salt Lake City.
And BYU as a 5 seed there, too.
Lol.

Didn't see the Florida player injury and by all accounts that is probably a good thing... Heard it was pretty awful.

I think Oats tanked the game the other night. He stated several times the team was tired. I think he tanked to give the team the extra rest for the tourney that counts.

You don't consistently drive for layups when you're down by 20.

Fine with it either way. This team very clearly needed a few extra days of rest.

Man, Florida lit the basket up against us pretty much all 3 times we played them, and were cold as shite shooting against AU. I feel like that happens to us a lot. AU played some really tough defense today though, and big physical dudes just kill us.

One of the more gift wrapped SEC tournament draws ever. Credit to them tho they won the games.

True, easiest path I’ve seen but they also have a veteran team so they returned a ton of production. This will be their best chance for a big run for a while. Hats off to them as much as I hate to see them with success

9 of the top 11 in the AP got beat this week, half of which were blown the frick out by lower seeds, and people are still acting like Bama and Oats are trash.

It's basketball, matchups MATTER. Again, Bama beat the shite out of MSU twice, and MSU beat the shite out of UT 2x.

Man seriously go do something else with your time. This is by no objective measure a God awful team. I mean I can see emotional women or kids who have no knowledge of basketball having this take, but otherwise it’s embarrassing.

Finding it hard to believe the dude is an actual Bama fan. If he is, he's just a super miserable person. I guess he'd rather have Avery back getting bounced in the first round of the NIT again instead of playing in the tourney every year.
