They're hitting on all cylinders right now. Could see them getting to a final four.

Can’t wait to play nightmare matchup Florida a 3rd time.
Basically all of the top SEC teams are nightmare matchups other than maybe South Carolina but even then I think we may've caught them on a bad day.

When people realize Tennessee ain't all that I'll be happy!

They are a one man show. We got them on the night the others played well

Reed Sheppard is awesome. He’s a hometown kid that plays the game right. I always want Alabama to win, but if we can’t, I hope UK makes a deep run.

Death, taxes, and Bama on Kentucky’s half of the SECt bracket. Think we’ve only been on opposite side once or twice in last 20 years.

Florida losing at Vandy could change things…if Auburn loses(not likely) we are the 4 seed
Looking at it…the UF game might’ve had no impact on it

But Bama no worse than a 3 right?

I like it, set up for a revenge tour and a higher seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Time to get revenge on Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee.

What are the seeds for the tournament?

Well, we have the tiebreaker over South Carolina and Kentucky has the tie breaker on us. So 3 seed?

The SECT just seems like an afterthought...much like the SECCG in football will end up being. I know you always want to win no matter what, but I'm hoping they get hot and avoid a 2nd round NCAAT loss to the usual Dayton, Creighton type team.

I always thought the tournament is a fun 3 or 4 days for basketball junkies.

Given the choice between a loss in the Elite Eight with no SEC Tournament Championship and a loss in the Sweet 16 with a SEC Tournament Championship, I'll take the SEC Tournament Championship and a Sweet 16 berth.

I agree with this: Sweet 16 and Elite 8 just means you didn't win the NCAAT region.

Slight subject change. Next year, it appears likely we will be one of the 8 teams In the early season college basketball pay for play tournament. I love the fact that we are part of the discussion as this tournament is full of elite programs, but man it just feels like college sports is going off the rails a bit here. Im not old guard, im all for players profiting off of themselves, but this tournament just really seems to set a dangerous precedent. Obviously it's a huge recruiting tool for all involved as it would equate to a minimum payout of $60,000 dollars for every player involved and double that for the winning teams players...
So if you come to one of these schools, you know for sure that $60,000 is in your pocket, bare minimum. But it certainly appears basketball is opening the door for all games to be subject to appearance fees for players, regular season and post season. The NCAA is terrified now, they have basically shown that they are done with getting involved because honestly the courts are going to side with players individual rights. I hate to be the old guy yelling at the clouds, but I do think the model's boundaries are going to start being pushed to the edges of the haves and have nots.
