You're probably correct, but that's what is needed.

Is the interior defense the reason for today's loss? It's true that Bama's interior defense isn't great, but that's not the reason for today's loss. Paint zone defense was not an issue at all.

The biggest reason for today's loss is Sears and Estrada's poor perimeter defense. The team's defense collapsed because they had difficulty defending the opposing ball handler and swingman.
They can't defend players who are physical and athletic. The moment when Bama wins is when Sears and Estrada's defense is not a problem.

False... You're not beating anyone if they are shooting like that at home. Edwards was 10/10. You can't even shoot that in warm ups.

I think good defensive teams get teams off a heater like UK was on most games. Alabama provided no resistance.

I disagree. There is something they could’ve done about it but they ain’t able to do it.
And what was that?

This was a very obvious loss given how both teams were coming into the game.

We ended up coming out on fire and the refs let one team play and not the other. We had razor thin margins in this one and Kentucky was allowed to bump and reach and play an aggressive game at first while we were not.

No big deal, it’s college basketball on the road. Refs are atrocious.

Kentucky parlayed that into getting hot and just dominating.

We gone be alright though just watch.

Like I said at the start of the season...

This will be a much better team in Tuscaloosa both offensively and defensively.

It's proven to be that case. Win one on the road during this stretch and get back home in front of the best fans in the country.

My opinion is we can get to the 2nd weekend by just our offense. But if we are gonna advance past a S16 we gotta draw the right matchup.

Exactly. Idk why people get mad when you state the obvious about how Sears and Estrada are on defense. They honestly don’t seem interested in defense. Rylan tries very hard on defense and even Walters. There’s a reason Nate has called out Sears defense this year.

I was helping a buddy move this afternoon so I didn't watch the game.

We got the shite beat out of us, huh?

Yes we did in a disgusting way. Our senior guards haven’t learned that should play defense night in and night out.

Certainly a ridiculous total and it almost forces you to take the under.... But the pace of this game is going to be insane. Alabama isn't going to slow it down one bit and Uk seems to have fallen in love with running as well and started to try to get quicker shots in the half court this year. If the teams shoot remotely well, this number could be huge
You nailed it!
The book got well on the over/under bet, but lost it back, just giving 3. I don't remember seeing a team shoot as well as Kentucky today, even with the poor defense and turnovers Alabama contributed. Their 3-point shooting was ridiculous!

A kid that was shooting 26% from 3 went 10/10 from the field today and scored 28 points

This game and the at Florida game was/is always going to be a loss and it doesn't matter.

Win at Ole Miss, beat Tennessee and Arkansas at home, then the SEC Championship is won.

Beating 10rC is a must. I think we’ll beat Ole Sis and Arkansas, even Florida can be beaten.

To be honest, if Sears and Estrada had played poorly in defense and offense like they did today, the result would not have been different even if Wrightsell was there.

I hope today's game doesn't end with a simple loss. I hope the players and coaching staff learned a lot from today's loss.

We stayed in the same exact spot in Lunardi’s bracket.
