When Miller signs a max deal in a few years he's such a Gump he'd probably make a huge donation towards a new arena. Just a thought. He's looking like a future All-NBA kind of guy already.

Good take Robot. The association is in desperate need of referees at all levels. I called thirteen games in Lawrenceburg TN at an hour per game in a developmental league. Nobody is willing to do it. So I kinda gladly do and was given the same respect here as I get on the court. Yet I still do, cause I love the game

Yep, he has been awesome for the past 3 weeks since taking a little recovery break from some nagging injury stuff.

Hell, I will be honest, in today's world I would be afraid to umpire or officiate. Parent's are just way tooooo invested in living through their children and flip out on each other, the players and the refs to degrees that are just beyond the scope of rational.
Props to you for getting out there and doing it.

Can't say I was sad to see David move on, but im glad to see him back in Tuscaloosa. Can't argue with his success as an assistant during the Wimp Era.

I've never had an issue with a coach asking why I made a call. Coaches are reasonable. Also can address officials in a way to hype up their team without crossing the technical foul line. All year, I've called two techs. It's more so the parents and entitled kids whose parents tell them they can do no wrong and if they lost, the refs fudged em.

That said, I really enjoy watching Nate work the refs

This. Probably one of my favorite speeches by frank martin.
He talks about parents coaching from the stands.
