Scott Cochran is on campus and inside the practice facility.
I read that it's a visit for his son. Maybe looking for a 2026 PWO offer? Or maybe he's just interested in attending Bama. He grew up in Tuscaloosa.

No shot we're bringing Scott back

Who knows, there could always be some sort of off-field role for him. Especially if his kid is going to walk-on here, he may just want to be around with his son...

Whatever he's doing there, he's all in on the visit.

Ever hear the phrase too many cooks in the kitchen?
I doubt he gets any position considering his style clashes with Ballou, Ballou building up his sports science system the past few years + university investing in it, and Ballou already being familiar with the staff from Indiana. With any luck, you bring him in and suddenly there's a crowd hammering for the "old style" of things while trying to push Ballou out which just leads to infighting.
Plus the whole substance abuse issue probably has him red flagged for a bit

I think that picture is from when he was still the strength coach here. I don’t think that is new.

He has a kid who is a future D1 prospect so I got the impression they were visiting campus. Plus the place has changed since he left with the new coach and all.

Well that would make Nick Gentry’s tweet even weirder if he looked up a photo from years ago to post with the caption “Home!”
That would make it seem like more of an announcement than just Scott stopping in to visit.

Did we just lose a bunch of posts?

Were they about a possible injury at practice?

WR Jalen Hale. Lower leg injury and left practice in ambulance. Prayers for the kid.

Somebody claimed on Twitter it was bad but he had only 170 followers.

I’m confused where this is coming from
At 7:24 CT, Tide illustrated posted interviews about Hale
LINK
Tony Tsoukalas had tweeted he was interviewing at the same time from the same spot. Then at 9:30 he followed up with the tweet
LINK
So did Hale just blow up his leg at the 11th hour? At least it sounds like it was a fracture a la Bo Scarborough and not ligaments, so he should be fine by fall.

Scott Cochran simply walks through the building, and players start blowing shite up.
J/K
Agreed, if it's broken he'll be back in the fall.

Broken kneecap. 3-6 months recovery time per someone on TI who is extremely reliable (he has a close source in the medical staff).

I'll believe it when I hear it from CodeName.
