Seems like some of these guys have unfinished business. Honestly, they could all develop nicely with another year. No surprise Turner went, but I wasn’t a fan of his attitude when making that public. These other guys seem to be handling the process well, talking it out with the coaches, and making good decisions

Turner was upset about the way he was used in the game. He evidently said he was not allowed to rush the passer, was used more in coverage. He did not agree with the decision. Obviously he was upset about the loss too.

I realize this, but it’s no excuse. You gotta have a higher emotional intelligence and maturity. Everyone was upset about the loss.

I agreed with him and said multiple times that game and this season “holy shite can we please rush Dallas Turner and drop someone who isn’t the most talented edge in college football into coverage?”

That being said I really wish he’d composed himself in that moment. I get the frustration/anger. But we obviously all love Dallas and that kinda felt like a gut punch that he’s was so cold about it. He loves Will Anderson and this felt like the opposite of Will

Same. Dude is about to go the NFL where we will be a pass rusher, and he was hamstrung in the biggest game of the year, or at least that is what it seemed like. I can't blame him for being peeved.

We’re gonna need some guys to really step up as pass rushers next season. Very little experience coming back.

Something tells me we’ll be just fine.

Edge rushers are great but we need inside pass rushers more than anything. That's the key.

Braswell vanished after the Tennessee game it seemed like. He had some moments vs UK and Auburn but he wasn't a factor like we hoped.

I think we'll be ok with the talent we have stacked away.

Earl Little visiting FSU this weekend. Wonder if this was decided before or after his meeting with the coaches today. Curious how FSU players would receive an Alabama guy joining their team...

Malachi Moore update: Morning of Jan. 4

Things can always change, but as it stands Thursday morning, the veteran defensive back is trending toward coming back for another season. He was a senior this year, but he has remaining eligibility. And his NFL Draft stock would probably be helped by another season. Secondary coach Travaris Robinson told The Tuscaloosa News at the Rose Bowl that Moore is "the smartest guy on the team." If Moore returns, that would give Alabama a veteran leader for not only the secondary but also the team.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Earl Little entered the portal?

I though that Oatis would be a pocket collapsing force this season. I think that he was good at stuffing the middle, but he didn't seem to affect the QB too much that I remember.

It will be fun to see our DL abuse him in the Playoffs.

Moore and Arnold coming back is unreal. It definitely minimizes the loss of Little (if we do lose him).

I agree with the above poster - we need a force in the middle of the DL.

From what the Tuscaloosa News is saying, it sounds like Malachi Moore may return. He has an extra year of eligibility because of the COVID year.

I read in one of the threads on here that Oatis has been playing injured the last part of the season. There was speculation he might need surgery after this season ended.
