Yep. Our defense was embarrassed by the motion and misdirection. Same as in the Auburn game. It’s been an issue under Saban in the past and it needs to be addressed. Now.

I’m very interested to see where Hampton starts out. He is capable of playing on offense as well as defense.

LB corp in general is one of those situations where the talent is there but the next step to being great is needed.
It's been a while since we had a MLB who was in addition to athletic, super smart and sniffed everything out. Maybe as far back as Dylan Moses since we've had a guy who knew what to do in every situation.

I think that we surpassed FSU's 87-2000 streak last year.

Sadly our streak of seasons with at least one week ranked at #1 came to an end this year. That one lasted from 2008-2022.

I'm kind of surprised he even agreed to keep Cadillac on in the first place. Freeze has always come across as very insecure and paranoid to me, so having a popular, successful interim coach from the last staff in the building probably makes him very uncomfortable.
