That is a brutal non-conference schedule on top of the always brutal SEC schedule. Did Nate Oats schedule these teams? Xavier will win their conference, at #1 Texas, @ Southern Miss. Oy vey

Sure would be nice to have #4 available this year. If pitching comes around , it looks like we can put a decent lineup on the field

Damn what a schedule. Honestly, that looks like a losing season to me. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't understand booking this kind of out-of-conference schedule for baseball. Doing okay in the SEC is good enough to make the post-season without needing a stout OOC schedule.

Does Xavier return a lot? They went 28-26 last year and haven't been good since they joined the Big East. I'd be shocked if they won the Big East ahead of UConn or Creighton. Outside of that, it's basically just Texas and games we've played every year for a decade.
Almost always play home and homes with Jax St, Troy, USM, Samford and UAB. Like, every season.
Pretty tough SEC slate (plus Texas)

Yeah my mistake. They are projected third. They do have some quality players though.

I’ll watch and cheer them on but they’re like a Grant/Avery basketball team. I’ll believe it’s been turned around when I see it. Bo has had enough time to right the ship, at some point he has to produce results. Theres no reason he shouldn’t be able to field a very competitive baseball team on a yearly basis at Alabama

Hopefully NIL can bring some relief for the scholarship discrepancy in the league. This makes four so far who have gone with this place - wonder if they are offering the entire team?
