I think that if Miller isn't a go for Saturday, they HAVE to get Dear involved. He seems like too good of a player to not give him at least handful of touches.

I think that Riley, and Hill are serviceable enough for a respectable run game though, but it all depends on run blocking. Our oline seems to be in a pretty good place right now, but they need to be more consistent.

Actually if the season ends in a three way tie between us aggies and ole miss, right now the tie breakers would have Bama-1 A@M-2 and ole miss-3

Their defense is pretty terrible.

They will score but I think we score more

Dijon Lee is better IMO.

Domani is probably a little better in pass coverage at this point but He is so much worse against the run than Dijon.

There quarterback looks to have a similar skill set to the Vandy quarterback. Very talented, creates a lot of plays, not super athletic, but can make a defense pay by escaping the pocket. Like the Vandy quarterback, he’ll also try to force some throws. I think we force a couple of turnovers on him and that’ll be the difference

My thoughts on UTk:

They low down, they dirty, and they some snitches. I hate their colors, I hate all their quarterbacks, I hate Philip Fulmer, Neyland stadium looks like a garbage truck worker convention, it's that puke inside of a pumpkin orange.

Big concern. Ty drastically improved once Jam returned. His pass blocking was a big difference.

I think it may surprise some of you but i think Riley and or Hill might be improving more than you think. A lot of this is determined by the OL but I think we can run effective enough without Jam. Would love to have him but it’s where we are.

Lee also looms to make plays behind the LOS on screens/passes to the flat. That is one thing we have been atrocious at this year, and that is finishing the tackle for a loss. So many times this year we have been in position to take the ball carrier down at or behind the LOS only to miss the tackle and have it go for positive yards and/or a first down.

Go look at Mizzou’s QB on the play he ran it in from the 3ish yard line to tie it up at 17. Bray had him dead in the backfield for a loss and their QB did a little head fake and buckled Hubbard so bad and scored easily.

We had Mizzou’s RB stopped behind the line multiple times and could not get him to the ground and he’d squeeze out for a 3-5 yard gain.

If we could clean up the tackling, our defense would actually be very good.

As far as the Tenner game goes, I’m probably most worried about busted coverages over the top for big gains/TDs. We’ve been prone to going brain dead on the back end at least once a game and giving up an explosive with literally zero resistance.

i like riley. he runs hard has really good hands seems to be adequate in pass pro. however, he also seems to miss wide open lanes that costs a lot of yardage. hopefully he can work on this.

Hill I agree. I just think Riley is too small for the SEC and has awful vision. So many cutback lanes he misses to barrell into the back of our OLineman.(See 1st drive vs Vandy.) Riley is useful on little passes out of the backfield tho.

I don't believe either one of these things.

I somewhat agree he is to small for an every down type of guy. He does go down or backwards pretty easy which is due to his overall size. I wouldnt say he has aweful vision but for his size and speed he does seem to lack some of that at the moment. There have been holes and cut backs for sure but he just cuts it up right into a wall for some reason.

Having said that, there is a part of me that prefers he just get what he can get vs cutting back or running around and getting negative or no yds vs 2-3 yds.
