You haven't seen Bryant Denny Stadium on the opening game yet.

I wish we would get away from the neutral site games and schedule more home and homes with power 5 opponents. The last couple of openers have been underwhelming at best.

Is anybody going to tell him? Or is this sarcasm that went over my head?

For some reason I always go back to that '10-'11 Penn State series when A.J. McCarron cemented his spot over Phillip Sims.

Those were some of the best old-school uniform games ever, and I loved seeing us play in Beaver Stadium.

I was at that game. It was my final home opener as a student.

lol, my first bama game was the '78 opener at Legion Field with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Difference being, it was a couple months before my 16th b'day. we sat 33 rows straight above the Nebraska cheerleaders. Only thing i remember about the game, was how that turf glowed under the lights. I have since rewatched that game tho, lol.

I remember the game very well because my parents and sister (no pics) visited that weekend. Mom and dad sat somewhere else while my sister (no pics) sat with me in the student section.

Are you talking about the season or home opener? Didn’t Alabama get beat the first game of the season that year by USC? Too lazy to look.

What? Alabama was on a 20 game winning streak when they lost to South Carolina at Columbia in 2010.

My 1st attending opening game was 1985 Monday Labor Day night road game at UGA.
It was a classic.
UGA blocked a punt with 50 seconds to go, recovering for a TD to take a 16-13 lead.
While UGA was busy celebrating on their side, Shula in the clutch, hit 4 big passes, last 1 being to Al Bell to take the lead with 20 seconds to play.

You can still say Bama hasn't opened in late August/ early September somewhere other than a neutral site

Dawgs
Both Tigas

Gut wrench Clemson and OSU
