I noticed the same thing about Rinaldi. When CNS asked him that question, he completely froze and had no idea what to do. You could almost hear the producer in the mic in his ear yelling at him to do something besides stand there like an idiot.
And I felt bad for #17. I think it was Bellamy. He really looked like he couldn't grasp what just happened. That guy played his heart out against us and Oklahoma.
You can also see one of the camera men (from the AJC I think) kneeling against the wall to the left of the endzone double over when the catch was made.

The confetti was blasted about 15 seconds after the TD was scored. Glad there was no " the ruling on the field of a touchdown is under further review"

My aunt pointed this out to me over the weekend. Would've been a real shitshow had they had to do a review.

I have never seen 1 player make that much difference in a college football game. It was like a whole other team in the 2nd half.

Yeah it was awkward and Tom sort of missed an opportunity there. Some of these TVs guys, while professionals, freeze when required to go off script.
Compare this with Rece Davis, one of the best in the business, and how coolly he handled it when Rashaan Evans tried to sneak in for a photo while Rece was throwing it back to Herbie and Fowler. “Hi Rashaan. How are you?” “Man, I feel great right now”. Was a perfect in the moment scene that only guys like Rece can pull off.

Well since I don’t take kindly to unequal treatment which is clearly what you do, as you allow certain members to be verbally abused, you can just start that suspension or expulsion or whatever right now big boy.
