The man who stopped Tua from winning a national championship as a starter is Pete Golding

Meh. Both sides of the ball share blame for the LSU loss. In the first half we had the Tua fumble, Tua int, fumbled punt, and 4th down failure. Not to say the Defense played well but it was good enough to win if the Offense had been crisper

No. We haven't had an "Alabama defense" since Golding got here and that's why we aren't winning national championships. Lane Kiffin is Golding's Waterloo. Lane showed the world and the doubters Golding has no clothes and is in way over his head at this level of football.

Tua was pretty rusty in that LSU game, missed like 17 days of practice and barely practiced the other 2 or 3 days

And brought us back within a score with a ton of time to play. And then LSU walked the ball down the field twice in the 4th quarter. And when I say walked the ball, I mean with little to no resistance. It was Ole Miss easy.

well, by that logic. jeremy pruitt cost jalen hurts his natty against clemson, right? jalen gave bama the led and that defense let clemson march right down the field and score the winning td.

No sir. That's a silly comment. Tua is the best QB in Alabama history. A top 5 NFL pick even coming off a devastating hip injury. Jalen Hurts can't compare to Tua. And, Pruitt has produced national championship defenses at multiple spots.

I don't think Lane showed the world Golding has no clothes. I don't even know why someone would think after the game he had no clothes, even if he somehow didn't have clothes, and had borrowed someone else's, i think everyone would have assumed those were his clothes. Unless the didn't fit right.. possibly.

The defense definately has a lot of blame, however, to put it all on the defense when the offense had major screw ups is asinine. Would we had won the game with a better defensive coordinator, maybe. Would we have won the game if the offense doesn't do the shite they did? Probably. Georgia had their shite together on defense and still lost to LSU. Clemson didn't fare any better.

I honestly think the biggest play in that game was Tua fumbling. When he did that it gave LSU the confidence and momentum they needed.

I didn't realise that golding has a 50% completion rating against top defenses. With a 6 td/int ratio.

What's Golding's yardage per game allowed against offenses with a pulse?

Yeah, if Golding was semi-competent we only lose to Clemson 28-3.

I didn't realize the University of Tua ever played for a national championship.

you do realize that no one stopped LSU that season. Who stopped lsu in the SEC championship game? Who did they play? Who stopped lsu in the Natl Championship game?

Brother that red zone offense was off the charts bad. Yeah Savion Smith didn’t help but the defense was maybe 30% of the issue.

No one claims Golding is the best defensive mind Alabama has ever had, everyone knows he sucks. Mac Jones is playing better than Tua did and isn't made of glass.
