The lights looked 1000 times better tonight

There was this bizarre blue'ish glow last week, everything was too bright, too florescent. I heard they would adjust them and whatever they did was perfect, everything looked 100% crisp and perfect tonight.

It's cool that they can manipulate the lights to make it look like a spotlight in the middle of the field.

The lights are fine at the beginning for the introductions and stuff. I don’t like them using them after that.

The lights are tacky as hell and are a ridiculous thing to have wasted money on.

Many pro stadiums have this. It's for entertainment as CFB is struggling with attendance.
The NBA and even NCAA Basketball pretty much have concert lighting. Videos being projected on the court itself.
It's just the next step. If you really want old school, then take out the video boards, ribbon boards that show stats, music. I mean if you're going to be anti-technology, take it all out.
