Would like to get others perspective of the Air Raid offense DeBoer runs. How does it vary from what Mike Leach and Hal Mumme ran?

Leach and Mumme never had a 1000+ yard rusher, I don’t believe. DeBoer runs receivers to open grass instead of forcing a QB to thread a needle or throw guys open. DeBoer uses more play action as well, thus resulting in more “chunk plays” through the air.

Cole does a pretty good explaining what DeBoer likes to do.

Its not exactly air raid. His offenses as a head coach in D1, his teams have thrown more than run, but theyve throw less than 100 more times than theyve run every season IIRC. His offenses are balanced

Dillon Johnson would probably tell you it's not really air raid. The air raid is the offense he was getting away from by leaving state.

Cole is the best in the business. I think I'd rather listen to him talk about cfb than anyone out there.

It's pretty wild that you'd have to pay 30 million just to talk to lanning. No thanks!

Ive watched some of those. Niblack made a mistake hitting the portal. He would feast in this offense.

He almost didn’t qualify to get into Alabama out of high school.
