Then once Metchie and Jameson went down.....just a really tough situation to score against an elite defense.

Looking forward to next year. Should be a fun group with some great leaders. This team played their arse off, just didn't quite have enough.

We all knew this offense didn't have much of anything if we lost Jameson. There just wasn't any recovering from that

No way I’m melting about this game after the season and injuries this team had. Now, if we don’t win it next season with Anderson and Young leading both these units I won’t be so nonchalant.

I was really surprised we hung in there as long as we did after Williams went down. I thought the game was over at that point.

Maybe, maybe not. Injuries happen. Part of it.

It's true. Next year's team has clear leaders on both sides of the ball and this game should give them major motivation. I hope they know the expectations are high.

I’m still stunned that this team made it to a title game. It was a season of constant issues compounded by several injuries. Jamo going out was kind of the last straw, you can only lose so many key pieces.

All of that and they were still in the lead in the 4th quarter.

Team ended up having a lot of grit. Won the Iron Bowl and are SEC champions. Not bad for a rebuilding year.

It was a heck of a coaching job to get to the NC game this year with your top two NFL caliber wide outs injured, OL injuries, Chris Allen injured, Bill O’Brien as OC, and Doug Marrone as OL coach

after the aTm and L2u games, i was tickled to win the west. anything else was icing on the cake.
we better learn how to play offense against the blitz because we’re gonna see it a lot next year.

I’m married to a big UGA fan so I’m going through a few stages of grief here…..but I have no doubt that we win that game if healthy at WR. Shows the first game wasn’t some fluke. We get points early and Bennett folds. Once we were down JW, it was inevitable that the dam would break unless we just got a ton of breaks. Those breaks never really came outside of the fumble.

Is what it is though. Injuries are part of the game and I’m certainly not going to cry about it like Texas fans with Colt. This team fought hard despite its limitations.

Our advantage that was unique was the ability to spread them out and beat them deep. When Metchie got hurt that advantage shrunk. When Jameson got hurt it disappeared.
