Did anyone hear Stan White melt when the fumble was called on the punt return? I’ve seen people on facebook say he had a pretty bad reaction to it.

It was a missed call, but not gamechanging.

Refs get too much blame from all of us. It's hard to believe how they miss so many blatant calls at times, especially in the era of instant replay.

But, they made the call based on real time play, the viewing angles they had, the ball turning from near parrallel to nose down as it passed the PR's hand, and the immediate reactions of the players directly in front of the punt returner. Replay is also limited to the views they have. And, no view they had could overturn the onfield call. Similar to the LSU tip pass vs Bama.

Had the onfield calls gone the other way, they would have stood, as well.

It wasn't gamechanging. But, did prove a missed call after other angles came out.

That said, anything that makes White melt is worth it.

Most of the Barn male fan base is the boys that got picked on in school and has a "us against the world" mentality. So they are a delusional bunch ready to melt quite easily. I wished I had heard Stan White. Would have been gold.

I watched the game with my auburn friend. He wasn’t that tore up about it, the camera angles weren’t great. Play would have stood if they said it didn’t touch him

So glad his last game was a 22 point loss in Bryant-Denny.

Going to miss tuning into his melts when Auburn is losing.

White just melts at anything that goes "against" Auburn

If anyone has his reaction to last years game, please send it to the board, would be peak comedy

Nothing will ever top the Muschamp personal foul penalty rant in 2015.

This.

It was clear his pinky moved and the nose of the ball immediately turned downward.

Was that the year the field was mysteriously drenched even though it hadn't rained in Lee County in weeks? And our players kept slipping while not a single Auburn player was affected by it?

his last melt unless a 5-7 AU team is invited to a bowl game in case there are not enough 6-6 teams out there

Stan White melting on a questionable ref call against Auburn is more reliable than predicting when the international space station is viewable in the sky.

Yep. Have never seen Henry lose his footing like that before or since.

The best part is the rant was factually incorrect and it was two years removed from Auburn literally getting every crucial call in the Kick 6 game.

I'd be willing to bet there are multitudes of Stan White rants similar to this infamous one. It's only because we don't have the pleasure of a recorded sample to listen to.
A man can only dream...
